Were You Ever Attracted to Bad Boys?

With her rocker eyeliner, all-black wardrobe, and perfected eye roll, Gossip Girl's Jenny Humphrey isn't exactly fitting in with the prissy kids at her prep school. It's obvious that she needs a bad boy by her side, and on last night's episode that's just what she gets.

Jenny meets up with a Belgian diplomat's son, who happens to be drug pusher. She seems turned on or at least intrigued by his rebellious side and ends up helping him with some sales. Luckily, original bad boy Chuck Bass (they know his name even in Europe) is there to save Jenny from the dangers of drugs. But now that she's had a taste of the fast life, I suspect she'll be back for more, especially since she already has the wardrobe.

Although Jenny's appearance in the episode is otherwise pointless, it did remind us that sometimes we can be attracted to bad boys - even if it's completely stupid. Have you ever had a thing for troublemakers?

Nicole and Alexa Are In Fashion At CFDA & Vogue Awards

Nicole Kidman was out in New York last night at the CFDA / Vogue Fashion Fund Awards in New York. She wore a long white dress to the stylish event, which probably would not have stayed so clean if her gorgeous 16 month old daughter Sunday Rose was with her! Model Jessica Stam also wore a long white dress and hung out with Karen Elson and Jessica Szohr at the event - no New York night is complete without a Gossip Girl castmember or two!

Jessica's boyfriend Ed Westwick also attended, and looked rather understated next to Mark Ronson's statement suit - while Ed's character Chuck Bass is known for his eccentric attire, I don't think that's even something he would go for! Fellow Brit Alexa Chung looked fab as usual in her red dress and matching lipstick - love her look!

Leighton and Olivia Step Out Confidently For Gossip Girl Style

Leighton Meester posed in a punchy dress with her former costar Nicole Fiscella and Olivia Palermo in NYC last night at the launch party for You Know You Want It: Style-Inspiration-Confidence, a book written by Gossip Girl's costume designer Eric Daman. Leighton supported the man who puts her in so many fabulous clothes, which she was once again showing off on the set yesterday with Ed Westwick and a surprising reappearing costar. She, Olivia, and Nicole all looked fantastic on the red carpet and inside the party, so maybe they learned a thing or two from the book they were out to help promote. We caught up with Eric earlier this week at the ACE Awards, where he shared a little about dressing the show's stars:

On who's most enthusiastic about their wardrobes: "Everyone goes with the flow. Blake has a little more opinions on it, because she's very body-conscious and knows what looks great on her. She's been in front of the cameras long enough to be able to say, 'This would be better if it was a half inch shorter' - which is great. It's a dream as a costume designer to have someone, who's like, 'Lets do this!'"
On dressing the guys: "The guys are pretty into it. The guys just want to look good when it comes down to it, which is pretty easy. Chuck/Ed is really into it - he really likes to look amazing and he has been one of my favorites from day one. To be able to play with menswear in the way that we do and pioneer that men get to dress better, and that it's OK to wear a bow tie and a pink shirt and not be too gay about it."

Gossip Girl Cast Sings About Love, Acts Out College Lust

Hilary Duff, Ed Westwick, Jessica Szohr and Taylor Momsen were back to work on Gossip Girl Tuesday after most of them hit the red carpet together to support Penn Badgley's new thriller The Stepfather. Leighton Meester missed the premiere, but was out yesterday to debut her new song "Somebody to Love" all over the airwaves. Blair Waldorf has her somebody to love, but next week we'll see what happens with a certain Chuck Bass kiss - maybe it will even give us a clue as to who's involved in the mysterious upcoming threesome.

Ed Shows Off Californication Skills, Eats With Jessica in NYC

It's a Gossip Girl kind of week as season three starts on Wednesday night on ITV2! Ed Westwick was out and about looking low-key with his girlfriend and costar Jessica Szohr yesterday. The couple went out to lunch at a restaurant called Bubby's in New York, with Ed clutching a CD by Plastiscines in his hand. In a departure from his role as Chuck, Ed's appeared in US TV series Californication, playing a rather different lad - a student of David Duchovny's character.
