Supermodel Giselle launched a sandal line with Ipanema this week but she certainly doesn't need the money. It was announced today that for the second year running she tops the Forbes World’s Top-Earning Model list.

It is claimed that the Brazilian model earned an estimated $35 million in 2007, ahead of Heidi Klum with $14 million, whilst Kate Moss assumed third position with earnings of $7.5 million.

It's hardly surprising that business-savvy Giselle tops this list again. She is the face of Pantene, Dolce & Gabbana and Michael Kors to name but a few. But she also insists on being paid in Euros instead of dollars. Not just a pretty face 'eh?

Supermodel Giselle Bündchen has teamed up with Elle magazine to help raise awareness of AIDS in Africa. She is pictured in over 30 editions of the magazine reaching over 20milion readers. In the UK edition (with Gwyneth Paltrow on the cover) Gisele poses with (RED) products such as Converse boots, Gap t-shirts and the special edition iPod.

She explained why she wanted to help the cause, “I grew up in a country strongly affected by poverty. On street corners you see kids doing things on the wrong side of the law. The face of suffering isn’t an abstract thing for me, and I’ve always said to myself that if I could do something to help, I would. Follow your instincts and your heart: if you are able to buy and help others at the same time, why deny yourself the pleasure?”

Giselle Butt Stays Covered? Really?

I totally don't get this Page Six report. Apparently Gisele has a no butt showing clause in her contracts. Isn't she a supermodel? And isn't an underwear company one of her largest clients. How will they get around that clause on the Victoria Secret Fashion Show Tonight on CBS? My friend Meredith did the models' makeup and she said the show is fabulous and the best part is Heidi Klum and Seal! You all know how much I love them so I am really looking forward to it.

Egotastic! shared lots of photos with us a few weeks ago in case you need to be reminded of how Heidi Klum looks weeks after a giving birth. Here's a pic of Gisele not showing her butt.
