London Fashion Week, Spring 2010: Temperley London
Alice Temperley took inspiration from the circus for Spring 2010. The collection, like last season, was shown as a presentation rather than a catwalk show (which you can see below). She looked at all aspects from the tattooed lady, to trapeze artists to the ring master and these are all represented throughout.
Fab Ad: Jennifer Connelly for Balenciaga
Jennifer Connelly has returned as the face of Balenciaga this Autumn after a brief hiatus. She last appeared in the campaign in Spring 2008 in an impressive heeled gladiator boots. I am happy to see her return to Balenciaga, but can't help but feel that this campaign is a bit awkward.

Barbie has having quite the year! The stylish doll is celebrating her 50th birthday and to mark the occasion she already had a fashion show in New York and a range of new designer outfits. This week is was announced that Barbie would be getting a Heidi Klum makeover as the Victoria Secret's model was immortalised in plastic as part of the Blonde Ambition Collection.

Kristen Bell normally impresses me with her outfit choices. She tends to be bold without being over-the-top. But I'm not sure how I feel how the embellished cutout dress she wore at a party in Maui.
Celebrity Style: Taylor Momsen's Ripped Jeans Look
Taylor Momsen was out partying this weekend in New York City sporting a pair of on trend ripped jeans. She teamed them with killer gladiator heels and rock chick accessories including rosary beads and a leather cuff. I really like this look on Taylor, although the jeans are a little too ripped for me.
Trend Alert: Animal Print Heels
Earlier this week I told you how catwalk fashion had embraced bad taste combining clashing colours and animal print for an unusual look. Well, animal print is a big trend in itself and is now adorning everything including heels.
There are some fierce cut out heels available with leopard print, like the Coat style by Faith (£60).
Who Wore It Better? Chloé Scallop Shorts
Sienna Miller had a bit of a hard time this week as a survey said she was less sexy than the Queen! Despite that, she looked like she had a fun night at the Groucho club where she partied in these Chloé scalloped shorts and blazer. A similar ensemble was worn by Kate Bosworth last October when she wore the style with bare legs, gladiator heels and a pale tee.
Trend Alert: Cork Heels
The grey skies have returned to the UK this week following a brief hiatus, however, I'm not letting the weather dampen my mood and am investing in a summer wardrobe regardless.
This season footwear has embraced a new form of sole produced from cork giving sandals a classic summer holiday feel. Cork is such a lightweight fabric that it makes a perfect material for stack wedges, which is exactly how it's been used at Yves Saint Laurent (£290).
Sneak Peek! Mossimo Spring '09
For his Target Spring collection, Mossimo Giannulli is giving us a mix of goodies ranging from flirty feminine pieces to crisp-cut shorts. Tiered skirts and cool zipper accents give this line a cool, trendy vibe while streamlined shorts and classic stripes provide a basic backdrop. I'm personally loving that cool denim skirt and striped tanked combo because it gives off a breezy nautical vibe.
