How To: Get Blake Lively's Lovely Letterman Makeup Look

Last night in New York City, Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively arrived at the Ed Sullivan Theater to make an appearance on The David Letterman Show. Looking stunning and leggy in a bright pink mini-dress, Blake's hair also glittered under the city lights with perfect highlights and voluminous layers.

However, what I loved most about her look was her makeup. Blake always look age appropriate with just the right amount of eye and lip colour to enhance her natural beauty.

FACE: Blake has youth on her side, so her skin is virtually wrinkle-free and line-less. To achieve this look, be sure to exfoliate and moisturise regularly, paying special attention around the eyes. Begin by using a foundation such as Crème de la Mer's The Treatment Crème Foundation SPF 15 (since we know it's what Blake wears on the show) and blend well. Next, dab a little concealer under the eyes, around the nose and to any spots. Smooth and blend with a sponge.
EYES: For a subtle, yet polished eye, begin by sweeping a caramel-color shadow all over the lid as a base. Next, add a deeper bronzey-gold shadow like Becca Eye Colour Powder Shimmer in Jacquard to the crease and blend well. Then, use a champagne shadow such as Stila Kitten to the inner v and blend just under the lower lashes. Line the tops of the eyes with a black liquid liner (careful not to make the line too thick) and line the inner rims on the bottom with a flesh coloured pencil (to brighten). Finish with two coats of black mascara and a few false lashes in the corner if you dare!
CHEEKS: Apply a touch of blusher such as Urban Decay Afterglow in Score to the apples of the cheeks and along the cheekbones to warm up the skin. I suggest using an angled cheek brush (this brush does all the work for you).
LIPS: Lastly, apply a deep rosey-pink lipstick using a lipbrush for optimal coverage. I like Bare Escentuals Natural Lip Colour in Berry Glace for its creamy texture and deep colour. Follow with a shimmery gloss such as Elizabeth Arden High Shine Lip Gloss in Shimmering Pink on top as a finishing touch.

Relatively new to La Mer are its three first-ever cosmetic products. The product with heaviest coverage, The Treatment Crème Foundation SPF 15, is intended for dry skin. The Treatment Fluid Foundation SPF 15, a lighter version of the crème foundation, is meant for for normal to oily skin. Lastly, The Powder has been created with a sheer veil finish to wear alone or to set either of the foundations.

All of the items contain the same antiaging ingredients as the crème, yet also provide coverage to produce a flawless finish! I was really excited to learn about these new products because like most people, I only knew about their skincare.

New Moon in NYC Brings Brits Out to the Twilight Zone

It's the big day!! How many of you saw New Moon at a midnight showing or have plans to see it this weekend? Well, some lucky New Yorkers saw the movie last night, as all the stars showed up for the NYC premiere of the film. Robert carried on his hectic promotional schedule, as did Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz - they must all be exhausted! Rob wasn't the only Brit at the premiere as he was joined by Alexa Chung, Agyness Deyn and Ed Westwick, who attended alongside girlfriend Jessica Szohr and their vamped up Gossip Girl costar Taylor Momsen. BellaUK wants to know which makeup look you like the best? Gossip Girl Gang Keep Their Clothes on For Filming

The Gossip Girl gang were out on the streets on New York yesterday filming. Blake Lively wore bright blue trousers, while Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick were wrapped up warm in big grey coats. Leighton Meester toned down her eye-catching makeup from this week's American Eagle party as she transformed back into Blair, but she's still making headlines by stripping down for American GQ. The show itself made headlines because of a controversial plot, but Jessica Szohr has defended it saying it was fun to film and tastefully done.

Leighton Meester was wearing a daring dress and some striking makeup - what do you think? - and she hung out with Michelle Trachtenberg who showed off her flawless pale skin with her hair pulled back! Jessica Szhor looked great in grey, and Leighton's man Sebastian Stan wore a scarf to ward off the chilly weather - perhaps he gave it to Leighton later in the evening! Last night at the American Eagle Outfitters flagship store preview party in New York City, Gossip Girl actress Leighton Meester really played up her new rockstar style wearing cherry red lipstick paired with a mix of metallic gold and smoky purple eye shadow. This is an updated version of a popular red and purple trend from the 1980's, and it totally oozes too cool for school - even for high society institutions like Constance or NYU! Which Lipstick Do You Like Most On Taylor Momsen?

Last night at the Gossip Girl inspired clothing collection launch for Anna Sui in New York City, Taylor Momsen walked the red carpet with her ultra-long hair extensions and brick red lipstick. I like a bright lip on Little J, but I feel like the pink shade on the far right is a bit more flirty and age appropriate for the sweet sixteen year old. I also think the pale gloss works, but it doesn't make her eyes pop quite like the other colours. What's your favourite lip pick on Taylor?
