When I read this news report today about college students fighting to take down a gossip site called JuicyCampus.com for publishing their weekend hookups, partying, and general social lives, I was immediately reminded of my favorite show, Gossip Girl — whose plot mirrors this real-life situation. As a fictional show, Gossip Girl is a guilty pleasure and no one's getting hurt. But in real life, I'm outraged for these students.
