For weeks I was looking forward to attending Serious Eats Great American Food and Music Fest at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, CA. With big-name celebrity chefs like Bobby Flay and Guy Fieri, and the best of America's regional cuisine — Katz's pastrami sandwiches, Pink's hot dogs, Tony Luke's Philly cheesesteaks, etc. — it was sure to be a fabulous festival.

I have somewhat recently become totally lactose intolerant — as in, no butter, no cheese, no yogurt, and nothing dairy. I'm totally opposed to relying on drugs to allow me to eat something my body clearly doesn't want to digest, so I've been experimenting with vegan cooking.

Hot on the heels of her recent breast augmentation, Amy Winehouse showed off what appears to be a fuller pout as she left a clinic in London yesterday. BellaUK wants to know: what do you think of her freckles and plump pout? She looks happy to flaunt her new assets and we know her dad Mitch thinks her new boobs are great.

Despite the long lines and hungry event goers, there was one thing the organizers of the Great American Food and Music Festival did right: they invited Josh Wesson to give a special wine seminar. Wesson is a highly regarded wine professional. He's won countless awards and cofounded New York's acclaimed Best Cellars.

Great tasting foods such as creamy soups, baked treats, and fried foods tend to be high in calories . So if you can make simple food swaps that reduce calories, but still satisfy your taste buds, you can drop pesky pounds or prevent weight gain.
When making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, I skip the sugar-based jelly and substitute real fruit instead.

Take a peek into my kitchen cabinet for a healthy eating tip. If you can't tell from the picture those are jars with chalkboard labels. I've been using them for almost a year now and for two good reasons: health and money.
