Fast & Easy Dinner: Cobb Salad with Green Goddess Dressing

One of our favorite places to search for wonderful recipes is MyRecipes.com - the site that houses all of the recipes from several great food magazines like Cooking Light, Sunset, and Southern Living. We love the website so much that we've become fabulous friends and they're graciously providing this month’s Fast & Easy dinner recipes!

To get things started, I've found this delicious and filling salad recipe. Here, the classic Cobb is jazzed up with a green goddess dressing packed with fresh herbs. It's a wonderfully scrumptious dinner -especially after yesterday's Mexican food overload - so get the recipe now and read more.

Cobb Salad with Green Goddess Dressing
From Cooking Light

Ingredients

Dressing:
1/2 cup plain fat-free yogurt
1/4 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise
2 tablespoons chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
3 tablespoons chopped green onions
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
3 tablespoons white wine vinegar
2 teaspoons anchovy paste
1 teaspoon chopped fresh tarragon
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 garlic clove, minced
Salad:
8 cups torn romaine lettuce
1 cup trimmed watercress
1 1/2 cups chopped cooked chicken breast
2 tomatoes, each cut into 8 wedges (about 1 pound)
2 hard-cooked large eggs, each cut into 4 wedges
1/2 cup diced peeled avocado
1/4 cup (1 1/2 ounces) crumbled blue cheese

Directions

To prepare dressing, place first 11 ingredients in a blender or food processor; process until smooth. Chill.
To prepare salad, combine lettuce and watercress in a large bowl.
Place 2 cups lettuce mixture on each of 4 plates.
Arrange 6 tablespoons chicken, 4 tomato wedges, 2 egg wedges, 2 tablespoons avocado, and 1 tablespoon cheese over each serving. Serve each salad with 1/4 cup dressing.

Kristen Stewart in Olive Valentino: Love It or Hate It?

Will you be waiting in line for New Moon's release today? For now, let's check out Kristen Stewart's New Moon NYC premiere ensemble from last night. In honor of the star-studded festivities, the lady of the night donned an olive green Valentino dress paired with black Sergio Rossi pumps. The intricate pleating detail is amazing but definitely not my favorite compared to her other post-Twilight, present New Moon looks. Do you love it or hate it?

The Look For Less: Phillip Lim Recycled Zipper Dress

Remember when Kate Bosworth wore this Phillip Lim recycled zipper dress at the Gorgeous and Green benefit in San Francisco? Amazing. In fact, Becki Newton wore the same dress a couple months later – who wore it better? No doubt, this dress is hot, and sold out. Not that I could afford it even when it was available . . .

Forever 21 finally jumped on the bandwagon a year later with this Sequin Silk Dress ($30). Given, it's not nearly as decadent as Lim's version, but the style is similar - sans zippers – and the price is right. Get 'em while they're hot!

Celeb Style: Selita Ebanks

Victoria's Secret stunner Selita Ebanks supported Ashley Greene by attending the December Maxim cover party in NYC last night. She dressed for the chilly weather but didn't sacrifice style. Her blush minidress and Elizabeth and James faux-fur cocoon shrug set a romantic tone, while her black leather gloves, sheer hose, and patent booties inject tough spunk. Cozy chic done right!

Rihanna's Schedule Is Booked, Including New Year's

Rihanna was out and about for another hectic day of promoting Rated R in NYC yesterday. First up was a stop by the radio station Hot 97 in a white blazer, before she put on her black coat for lunch at her usual spot, Da Silvano. The next item on her agenda was an appearance on The Late Show in yet another dark ensemble. She was on hand to perform "Russian Roulette" - check out the video after the jump.

Rihanna wound up her day in a sparkly gold dress for her record release party at the Supper Club. She was joined by both Jay-Z and recent birthday boy Diddy, who shared with Yum his secrets to a successful bash. Ashley Greene also paid a visit after her own Maxim party, and she was spotted leaving around the same time as Rihanna headed home in a red outfit. The hectic scheduling isn't going to slow down for Rihanna anytime soon, as she's just signed a deal to perform in Abu Dhabi on New Year's for half a million dollars.

Tom Works Night and Day While Suri Shops With Katie

Katie Holmes left Long Island, where she had been working on The Romantics and headed into NYC for a weekend with Suri. The girls were out to see The Lion King on Friday night, with little Suri looking sleepy as they left the theater together. Saturday they bundled up in coats for a few long walks with Katie's mom, and Suri showed off her red dress from the children's Holmes and Yang and green backpack. Isabella Cruise joined them yesterday for a trip to the ballet, when Suri broke out a pair of bright rain boots despite the sunny day.

Tom, meanwhile, is still in Austria filming Knight and Day. His Friday night was a late one, as he took to a roof to film a dramatic looking action scene with Cameron Diaz. They continued on into Saturday with their work, though Cameron took the evening off to attend a Mozart recital at a local church with their costar Paul Dano.

New Moon Cast Has a Big NY Finale Before Tonight's Opening!

The cast of New Moon trotted out for one more red carpet in NYC tonight. They all showed up to greet fans and press for a final special screening before the movie's official release tonight at midnight! Kristen rocked out in a green one shoulder dress to finish off her spectacular fashionable weeks - find out how to get New Moon star style here and take a look at the top five Twilight red carpet moments. Elizabeth Reaser and Ashley Greene both look fantastic amid some of their other celebrity attendees like Natalie Portman and Taylor Momsen.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen arrived together, but posed separately. Despite another exhausting day, Robert managed some smiles for the awaiting crowd who cheered big whenever they caught a glimpse. The rest of the men of the Twilight saga didn't look too shabby themselves! Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz were spread out yesterday on the New Moon promotional trail. Nikki Reed wore a sexy short dress to stop by and chat with Alexa Chung on her show while Ashley Greene popped by Regis and Kelly where Kristen Stewart also made an appearance. Kellan was still hanging out in LA, but he was headed to NYC to join the rest of the cast before tomorrow's big release! Robert and Kristen have been taking on many of the interviews as well as the rumors, and the movie already has some celebrity fans like Jennie Garth.
