Gwyneth Paltrow has been out and about this past week showing off her new shorter haircut. I've got to hand it to her, it took a long time for her to grow out that beautiful, long mane and as soon as we started getting used to it (in her Estée Lauder ads and movies), she heads for the salon. Now that's why I think Gwyneth Paltrow is a beauty icon; she's never afraid of change. Personally, I like the curls, plus she looks so pretty in pink. Which hairstyle do you like best on Gwyneth?

Gwyneth Paltrow was in Chicago over the weekend promoting Pleasures Delight Fragrance. I just love her soft makeup and her long wavy hair-but, man, hair like that must require a lot of maintenance! A few weeks before, she was in Cali with stick-straight hair and lipstick that matched her dress. Which hairstyle do you prefer on Gwyneth: smooth and straight or a little bit wavy?

If you have a full, round face, you share your facial structure with Gwyneth Paltrow, Oprah Winfrey, Kate Bosworth, Cameron Diaz, and Catherine Zeta-Jones. The shape is characterized by a round chin and lack of sharp angles. Round faces tend to be wider at the cheeks, with softer shaping along the jawline and forehead. Round faces need balance, which can be achieved with hairstyles that make the face appear longer.

Soft, long layers are also pretty because they the appearance of a longer and slimmer face. The layers also reduce bulk and heaviness from the sides.

Bangs are flattering, but keep them long or side-swept. Go for wispy and tapered ends to de-emphasize the roundness of your face.

Try and stay away from blunt cuts if you have short hair. These only emphasize your round face.

Gwyneth Paltrow joined a friend for a walk in London earlier this morning with a bright red poppy for Remembrance Day in her hair. She looked chipper despite the recent rumors that her husband Chris Martin was spotted making out with Kate Bosworth, but Gwyneth has other developments to make her smile. She's just signed on to replace Charlize Theron in The Danish Girl, in which she'll star as the wife of Nicole Kidman's transsexual character.

Happy Birthday Bob! The the blunt-cut, bob haircut is turning 100 this year. The style, which was first invented in 1909 in Paris by Antoine de Paris (whose inspiration was Joan of Arc), has reinvented itself decade after decade proving that history always repeats itself, especially when it comes to hair. 2008, in particular was a banner year for the bob. We saw celebrities wearing a multitude of takes on the bob ranging from the pageboy bob to the choppy bob, the angled bob, Louise Brooks bob and the hocus-pocus bob.

Mark Coray, VP of the National Hairdressers' Federation of Great Britain, said, "The bob has rocked through the ages with the punks, the mods, new romantics and with pop and television stars. I have been cutting hair for 25 years and not one week has passed where a bobbed hairstyle has not left the salon."

I had a bob when I was eleven. It was just below my chin and was I totally obsessed with making sure it was always perfectly curled under. It looked great, but was too high maintenance for my adolescent lifestyle. Have you ever worn your hair in a bob?

After spending the weekend in NYC with Apple and Moses, Gwyneth Paltrow was spotted leaving a salon in LA yesterday. She's gearing up to get back to life as Pepper Potts for Iron Man 2, and director Jon Favreau has been tweeting about rehearsing with RDJ and trying to get Gwyneth hooked on Twitter. For now the actress has her hands full with GOOP, and this week's newsletter is all about getting your bikini bod in shape for Summer - though Jon also pointed out that Gwyneth's is already looking fabulous.

Gwyneth Paltrow looked gorgeous showing off her new shorter than it's been in years 'do at The Prince's Trust and RBS Celebrate Success Awards in London today. I think I made it kinda clear what I think about her new 'do, but Bella wants to know - love it or hate it? Neither her dinner date the night before, Madonna, or husband Chris Martin were by her side for the event, but Kevin Spacey joined her on the red carpet as did Prince Charles himself. Fancy, fancy.

Gwyneth Gets Going With Chris, Apple and Moses

Gwyneth Paltrow was spotted at the airport in Barcelona on Sunday with her kids, Apple and Moses, and husband Chris Martin. They were all traveling along with Chris as he tours with Coldplay, bringing them back to the region Gwyneth explored with Spain. . . On the Road Again. Moses even flashed a quick smile, showing off his short hair after chopping off his long locks. Chris and his band have a few more dates in Europe before they head back home to the UK to perform a handful of shows alongside good family friend Jay-Z.
