I was searching around for some cool headbands, scarves and wraps and Jennifer Behr's goodies kept catching my eye. Her trendy headgear is making statements everywhere this season - and from what I understand she's got more to come for Spring. Jennifer worked at Frederic Fekkai for five years as the lead hair accessory designer.

Victoria Beckham posed in lingerie for Harper's Bazaar's special double cover December issue. While she was showing off her more relaxed curls at a basketball match with the family at the weekend, Victoria wears her hair in a tight top knot hairstyle for the 16 page spread by Alexi Lubomirski. FabUK has the lowdown on what Victoria said about her customers and her nerves and I've got extracts from her interview about her solo career, her future, Emma Watson, her exercise regime and the importance of positive thinking.

At last night's Council Of Fashion Designers Of America's Reception in New York, twin sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen (who happen to be new members), arrived with similar hair, but very different makeup. Whilst Mary-Kate opted for a metallic smoky eye, tawny blusher and creamy red lipstick, Ashley wore less dramatic eye makeup, pink blusher, nude lips and fuller brows. They both look lovely, but if you had to pick one beauty look that you like better, whose would it be?

If you caught my latest Designer Spotlight, you know to expect a masterpiece from architect and interior designer Scott Weston. His residential work is phenomenal but I've also got to give him cred in the commercial department. I was blown away by his design of this Sydney hair salon.

There are many factors that go into choosing the right eyeglass frames. You can look to your face shape, skin tone, hair color, and of course — personality. Like I've said before, there is no magic formula.

It makes sense for certain beauty products to be made for babies. Gentle baby shampoos, fragrance-free lotions, and paraben-free soaps all seem like reasons to infantilize grownup products. But Le Baby Hair Gel is pushing the limits.

Red lips are one of those things that will never go out of style, and they're universally flattering. Problem is, many women don't wear them because they can't find a shade that's flattering or worry that it will be too bright to be pretty. Well, worry no more, fair ladies.

Lately I've been seeing descriptions of new salons that emphasize their design elements over the services offered; you'll find out who the architect is before you'll ever know whether they offer manicures. I'm not quite sure why this is happening — maybe with the economy down, salons are looking for ways to distinguish themselves — but it got me thinking: Are you willing to pay extra for a blow-out in that Frank Gehry-designed atrium or to sit in an Eames chair? I like a beautifully curated environment as much as the next person, but if a stylist is good, I'd be happy to get my hair cut in a back alley.
