Hipretty proves that even the most super casual weekend can be posh with just a couple of snazzy items. I love how her tunic and black riding pants are comfy yet slick. However, my favorite thing about her outfit is her wrapped up hair scarf - superb!

TV Tonight: Jerseylicious

New Jersey is so hot right now - for TV, anyway. First, the Real Housewives of New Jersey blew the nation's collective minds with their table-flipping suburban antics, and then MTV really rocked the pop culture boat with the phenomenon of Jersey Shore.

Capitalizing on the Garden State fascination is Jerseylicious, the Style Network's new reality show based in a salon in Green Brook, N.J., which premieres tonight. All the action comes from the stylists who work at the Gatsby salon, a mecca for the stereotypical Jersey look: "big hair, long nails, real tan," as one character says. These ladies are a little younger than the ones on RHNJ, a tad more mature than the gang on Jersey Shore, but no less entertaining, if the clip after the break is any indication. Get acquainted with the bronzed beauties and decide if they're your new addiction when you read more.

Obviously, a trim is always a great way to bring blah hair back to life, but it isn't the only way. If a cut isn't in your future or if you're feeling a bit stuck in a rut, I've got some tips on how you can change up your locks without a trip to the salon. Let the creativity begin.

Tool time: Been eyeing that odd-looking blow-dryer attachment for quite some time now? Make the investment in a new beauty tool and see where it takes you. Who knows? A change in curling iron barrel size might be all you need to get over a ho-hum hairstyle.
Just a little tuck: As simple as it sounds, just by tucking one side (or both sides) of your hair behind your ear, you can create a variation on your look. For more drama, first create a deep part and tuck the non-heavy side behind your ear. To create faux bangs, loosely tuck and pin about two inches of your hair on the heavy side behind your ear, allowing the hair on top to cascade over.
Change of part: Whether you part on the left side, right side, or middle, your hair can get accustomed to lying a certain way. A switch in the way you part your locks will not only frame your face in a different manner, but it'll give you instant volume, too.

Ashley Tisdale stepped out of the hair salon in LA with some blonder locks just in time for Spring! She looked cozy in a Winter ensemble consisting of a gray Joie dolman sweater, J Brand jeans, and Dolce Vita lace-up booties. Layers of beaded bracelets, oversize sunglasses, and a cross-body Rebecca Minkoff bag (shown here in black) jazzed up her basic look to perfection. Shop it all here!

Greenberg: A Harsh Look Under a Magnifying Glass

It always feels slightly off when a comic actor takes on a serious role. Not that Ben Stiller hasn't proven his flexibility with fare like Reality Bites or Friends & Neighbors, but never before has he seemed so straight-faced, vulnerable, and well, depressing, as he does in Noah Baumbach's latest Greenberg. In fact, it took a few scenes for me to settle in to Stiller as Roger, a 40-year old with severe social and mental anxiety. His face is tired, there's no sense of a smirk - even Stiller's gray hair is on display (Derek Zoolander would not be pleased).

The film follows Roger as he returns from a recent institutional visit (due to a nervous breakdown) to house-sit for his brother Phillip (Chris Messina). He spends his days writing angry letters to Starbucks and Mayor Bloomberg, and looks on as neighbors play in the backyard pool, afraid of human contact. The only lifeline Roger actually makes is the family's personal assistant, Florence (Greta Gerwig) and their German shepherd.

Almost immediately, Florence and Roger hop into a bumbling courtship. Roger seems drawn to her mid-twenties youth; Florence, in turn, is grappling with quarterlife uncertainty about life, and in Roger she sees someone much older who hasn't figured it all out either. It seems feasible that they'd get together, but not quite as likely that she'd put up with him. Basically, Roger is a very unlikeable guy, and like most Baumbach movies, his human flaws are both intriguing - and painful - to watch.

Through interactions with his ex Beth (Baumbach's wife and muse Jennifer Jason Leigh) and longtime friend Ivan (a great Rhys Ifans), we learn that Roger has always been motivated by selfish reasons. In his earlier days, he had a band with Ivan, which he single-handedly ruined after refusing to agree to a contract. As such, Roger still doesn't want to commit to anything. It's an issue which is further brought to light as Florence suggests that he be her boyfriend. He handles the situation by doing what any self-involved person might - he snaps at her. Not once, but many times. Unable to hang around Florence or people his own age, Roger instead turns to his niece's teenage friends, doing coke like it's the eighties and rambling on about olden days. Will he ever get a reality check?

Oh, it comes. But not quite with the clearly-defined resolution that you might hope for.

Stiller is great in the role, portraying Roger with a subtle touch. But perhaps his performance is overshadowed by just how much you want to shake Roger. Instead, I'd argue that the film actually belongs to Gerwig. How refreshing to watch an actress who looks and acts like a regular woman, and as Florence, she evokes that somewhat-needy, twenty-something girl that we all know and love despite her questionable choices. Florence is the heart of the film, and as such, she keeps it from completely succumbing to the doldrums. Be warned though, there are no laughs or real sweetness here. You'll likely find yourself feeling mixed about Roger and the film, because frankly, they're both downers. But as character self-examination goes, Greenberg still makes for an interesting study.

Which Hair Colour Is Prettiest on Katherine Heigl?

She's done it again! Only earlier this month Grey's Anatomy actress Katherine Heigl, switched her hair from a a russet aubern colour to dark muddy brown. For last night's ShoWest Awards held in Las Vegas she changed gear it up again switching to glamorous jet black. It also looks like she added some hair extensions to create the soft 1940s Hollywood wave. I thought it looked great! It's a long way from the early Grey's seasons of sporting bright blonde curly hair. Which shade do you think works best?

Beauty Byte: Kelly Osbourne Collaborates with St. Tropez

Kelly Osbourne's been all over the place recently. First for her rapid weight loss, and then for her new hip lavender hair colour. Her latest project is with tanning brand St. Tropez, working to champion self-esteem among young people. Kelly was unveiled as the face of the new campaign this week, which is being launched with youth charity The Prince's Trust.

I managed to get my hands on the shot which is being launched nationwide this week and Kelly looks great! Apparently she's a recent fan of St. Tropez following her turn in Dancing With The Stars. She's also been an ambassador for The Prince's Trust for two years.

The campaign is based on research backed by. St. Tropez, that 60 percent of young people have low confidence about their bodies and that three quarters of young people suffer from low self-esteem. As part of the project the company has also said it will give £10 of every £45 Complete Bronzing Set to the charity.

Kelly seems super happy and content here. She's been working hard to keep trim and promote a healthy appearance recently. She's also known to have struggled with her looks and self-confidence in the past, so she's a great choice for the campaign. What do you think – would you have picked Kelly?

Basic and Beautiful Wedding Hairstyles

Finding the right hairstyle for your wedding day is a big deal, so don't be ashamed or embarrassed to play with different looks. I sat through five different trials trying everything from long, wavy extensions to updos. Heck, even celebrity hairstylist Ken Paves said that, "once Carmen Electra selected her wedding dress, I created 13 different hairstyles on her and took a Polaroid of each one so she could select the one which was perfect for her."

This is your day to shine - you should look fabulous! And a great suggestion, Ken. It's important to take a Polaroid so that your stylist knows exactly how to recreate the look. I know it all feels kinda vain, but once you find something you love, you'll be so happy to have one less detail to worry about on your wedding day!

Updo: This is a broad category because it can mean chignon, french twist, ballet bun or simple knot. You can part it on the side to modernize this classic look, or give some volume to the crown. Even though it may not feel like something you'd be interested in, I encourage you to try your hair styled off your neck and away from your face. It really allows you to have a fuss free night!
