Kate Bosworth Manages Her Hair Situation

Kate Bosworth broke out her red Chloe boots yesterday for a trip to LA's Byron and Tracey hair studio - shop her look here. She's been living it up in LA for the last few months, hitting various awards shows and getting linked to a couple guys, from her costar Alexander Skarsgard to Chris Martin, who she supposedly kissed. Kate doesn't seem to be letting any of the speculation about her love life affect her stride, as she takes care of business at shops and the salon.

She's designed for Princess Diana and has a wide UK, US and Australian following. However, aside from her designs making a statement, she's known to stand out with pink hair, bold blue eyeshadow and orange lipstick. If Lila Hack wasn't born crawling with a swagger, she is sure to learn it just by watching her mum. Model mother Kate Moss threw her godchild, 9-year-old Iris Law (daughter of Jude Law and Sadie Frost), the soiree of her dreams - a catwalk party. A well-known woman in the fashion world, the leggy Top Shop designer brought gobs of clothes, hairdressers, and makeup galore for the little darling and her pals, which happened to include her own 7-year-old daughter Lila Hack. Done up to the nines, it was then time for the youngsters to learn how to strut their stuff. While it may sound fun and fancy, one might wonder what kind of influence it has on the impressionable youths. One source said:

All of the girls at the bash wanted to be Kate. She brought along lots of clothes for them and the girls had their hair and make-up done especially. . . . Kate also presided over all of the accessories to make them look as catwalk-ready as possible. She was teaching them how to master her famous hip swagger and her "I don’t care look."

For times when the sultry bedhead hairstyle or tousled beach waves aren't what you're going after, why not play up the sexy side of curls with something a bit more mellow? You can still rock a come-hither look, without going the route of the old-timey roller set-style, either. At Milan Fashion Week, Hilary Swank looked stunning with waved hair that avoided being too prim and proper. What I like most about her loose, softly rolled curls is that they're not perfectly pouffed, but they still have that sensuous factor without being too in-your-face sexpot. This is a look I do about once or twice a week when I've got about five extra minutes in the morning, and by nighttime, it's perfectly tousled for cocktail hour. Recreate LC's Double Braids With Tips From Her Stylist!

Just when we thought there couldn't possibly be any more ways to wear braids, who better than trend-setting Lauren Conrad to bring us back in? At the Hollywood Style Awards last night in LA, the former reality show star styled her signature waist-length extensions in not just one side-braid, but two intersecting plaits. Celebrity stylist Byron Williams of the Byron and Tracey Salon created the look for Lauren, using her multihued frock as inspiration.

"We wanted to get it as narrow as possible because we didn’t want to overwhelm the dress," Williams said. "It was side-parted, and we French braided both sides. It’s kind of half-up, half-down." I asked, and you voted that Bar Refaeli was last night's red carpet beauty queen.

Personally, I was kvelling over her wavy hair, but when I looked a little closer, I noticed her awesome shimmering blue- green eyeliner that was enhanced with a hint of gold in the inner v of her eyes.

Paired with a creamy pink pout and tanned, flushed cheeks, Bar's makeup was aces. Her face was polished, young and fresh looking and that hint of metallic eyeliner gave her a current edge.

Achieving her look is fairly straightforward, and with the help of a little bronzer and the right brushes, I know that all of you beauty junkies can handle this one. However, for details on how to create that perfect finishing touch on her eyes, I'll lend a hand with a few helpful hints. To find out what they are, just read more.

Step 1: Begin by filling in your brows. Then curl your lashes and apply a pale pink shadow all over your lid and blending a matte brown, grey or plum shade in the crease.
Step 2: Next, apply black powder liner just above your lash line on the top and below your lash line on the bottom. Once you are done, dab a smidgen of gold shimmery shadow to the inner corners of your eyes.
Step 3: Finish by lining the inner rims of your eyes with a blue-green coloured metallic liner. That wasn't so difficult, was it?
