I have the perfect bag for you to carry on your hot Valentine's Day date — this Yves Saint Laurent red or orchid Easy Tote ($995 each). I know they don't come cheap, but if you have moolah to spare, they're delectable buys. The orchid color is pretty prim, while the red is sultry sexy.

Mulberry has a new take on Spring '10 — it's all about whimsical fun. The ad, shot by Steven Meisel, features Sasha Pivovarova and Viktoriya Sasonkina posing against a carnival-inspired backdrop compete with carousel horses, magic fun-house mirrors, and wild hair. I love the youthful aura and how the pastel colors provide perfect contrast to Mulberry's buttery soft Alexa bag.

When I think of Spring, I imagine exotic locales and tropical rain forests. Loewe knows what I mean. For its Spring '10 campaign, the Spanish brand enlisted Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin to create a tropical dream featuring Fab face Daria Werbowy — not a surprising choice, since both photographers love the Ukrainian beauty.

I've died and gone to Chloe heaven. For her Spring accessories, Chloe's Hannah MacGibbon stayed true to her tailored feminine aesthetic supplying us with a decadent selection of polished bags, cute footwear, and stellar sunnies. Neutrals ruled, but the occasional pops of color, via a yummy cherry red Paraty bag, and marine-blue ballet flats, also made an appearance.

Stella may not be Designer of the Year, but I still go gaga over her creations. Her latest Falabella bags — one of them being this Stella McCartney Falabella Tote ($1,145) — don't come cheap, but they do come gorgeous. I'm intrigued by the shape and the bordering chain detail.

Stuart Weitzman just got a little more amazing — he announced an expansion into handbags. The designer, who's had 30 years of creating delish footwear under his belt, has teamed up with Mosaicon SpA to create a supple collection of leather bags and small goods. "What we’re offering will have the same price-value feeling as our shoes do, and when you can sell in salons and be the lowest price as we are, there’s a real opportunity to build a strong business.

My motto is, why ruin a good thing? That goes for this Balenciaga Arena Tri-Color City Bag ($1,395). The original, single-color version is just fine, so why the tri-color?
