Brit Volturi Jamie Previews New Moon Ahead of Harry Potter

Jamie Campbell Bower was in Spain over the weekend for a New Moon preview at the 2009 Sitges Film Festival. British up-and-coming actor Jamie plays Volturi leader Caius in the second film of the Twilight saga, and he's got the whole hand-through-big-hair actions down pat just like his Brit costar Robert Pattinson, who was busy with Kristen Stewart in Vancouver over the weekend taking a break from filming Eclipse. Jamie and Robert also have Harry Potter in common, as Jamie plays Gellert Grindlewald in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Rupert Grint Recently Recovered From Swine Flu

Rupert Grint's publicist has revealed that he has recovered from Swine Flu, after he had to take a week off from filming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

It was only a mild case of the illness, and he'll be able to attend the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in London on Tuesday alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson. The movie is released on July 15, and his spokesman said:

"It has just been confirmed that Rupert Grint has taken a few days out of filming due to a mild case of swine flu. He has now recovered and is looking forward to joining his fellow cast members at the premieres this week and will then return to filming directly afterwards. A spokesman for Rupert's doctor has confirmed that Rupert is no longer contagious or at risk of infecting others. Other scenes were shot which did not require his involvement and thus filming was not disrupted."

Chief Medical Officer, Sir Liam Donaldson, has stated that there may be more than 100,000 more cases of swine flu every day by the time September begins. Over 7,400 cases have been confirmed thus far, and four people in the UK have sadly died of the illness. We're glad you're feeling better, Rupert!

Emma, Daniel, and Rupert Live Harry Potter by Day and Night

Emma Watson was back to work with her boys Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in London on Sunday. The kids have a long Summer of filming ahead, but soon they'll be spending time together off the set, too. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince comes out July 15th, which gives the boys some time to consult Emma for red carpet style tips - check out her gorgeous recent spread in Elle here.

Helena Joins Dan and Emma For Harry Potter Filming

Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson swapped the streets of London for the beaches of Pembrokeshire to film the latest scenes for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Helena Bonham Carter whipped out her wand and joined the cast on the sand dunes of Freshwater West, where an awesome cottage has been built out of shells for the film. These pictures make me so excited for the final movies, and I'm really looking forward to seeing how the epilogue is filmed. Producer David Heyman has been inspired to try the aging technology used on The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, as he wants Dan, Emma and Rupert to play the older versions of their characters, saying: "I'd feel terrible about having other people take those parts at the last gasp". Would you prefer older actors or digitally aged versions of the trio?

Daniel and Emma Keep the Harry Potter Magic Alive

Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson took Harry and Hermione to the countryside to film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in Wales yesterday. We got our first peek at the set a few weeks ago but there were a few new additions to the cast this time. Helena Bonham Carter showed off her wizarding skills, though she carried her MacBook between takes instead of a magic wand. The kids have a busy few months ahead of them - in addition to filming, they'll also have to make the rounds for the sixth movie, which opens in July.

Harry Potter Stars Take to the Streets of London

Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint are back in Harry Potter mode as they filmed scenes for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I near the Trocadero Center by London's Piccadilly Circus yesterday. The trio were joined by 400 extras to film the "cafe attack" scene. Emma spoke about how full-on filming is in Interview magazine, saying: "At the moment, we’re there at about 6:30 a.m., which means I’m picked up at about 5:45 a.m. We’re filming both the seventh and eighth movies at once". To help relax on set it looks like Emma's followed Keria Knightley's lead, as she was spotted kissing her boyfriend Jay Barrymore on location in Scotland over the weekend. To help with the wait for the release of the sixth film, check out the new trailer for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Bring on 17 July!

Dan Radcliffe Has to Be Inventive When it Comes to US Dating

Daniel Radcliffe has been enjoying his last few days in New York City by taking a solo walk along Hudson River Park, with just his music for company. Dan's spoken about the American phrases he's picked up during his Equus run on Broadway, but he's had some trouble picking up a date in the US because of the country's drinking laws. He told NY Daily News that he has to make do with meeting women at the stage door, saying: "My first night in New York we all went out and I was like, ‘Yeah!’ Let’s do it!’ And then I was like - ugh - the drinking age is WHAT?... It’s okay - I’ll be back in a few years." I expect the 19-year-old will be happy to get back to our UK night scene.

Emma Watson Shares Views on Uni, Sexiness and Baring All

Emma Watson enjoyed a night out with friends at L'atelier Restaurant before the snow hit London this week. While we have to wait until 17 July to see Emma in Harry Potter and Half-Blood Prince, the actress is about to join Daniel Radcliffe to start filming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows before studying English and Philosophy at an Oxbridge or Ivy League college. Emma's also found time to chat with the Mail on Sunday's Live magazine about sexiness, nudity and university. Here are the highlights:

On her background: "I wasn’t one of those girls who always dreamed of being an actress. I went to a normal school and then these film auditioners turned up when I was nine. Then I just fell into this whirlwind. I had lots of times when I thought: 'Woah, woah, hang on – I’m not completely sure about this.' I didn’t come from a background of films. I didn’t even really ever watch films. The fact is, my parents weren’t into that stuff, and neither was I."
On her Harry Potter costars: "Daniel (Radcliffe), Rupert (Grint) and me have been incredibly protected doing the Harry Potter movies. There seems to be this feeling that all of us were bursting to break out of these images we had created but that’s never been the case. We all share the same view. None of us court celebrity, none of us want to be part of the game."
On filming nude scenes: "I have no plans to do anything for the sake of it, or to shock people. I might be willing to take my clothes off for a Bernardo Bertolucci film, if it was a part that really made sense as part of my character. But I wouldn’t do it just to make a point, to move on from Hermione. I’d hate to be so tactical. I’m not just getting my kit off for anyone."

On sexiness: "I find the whole concept of being ‘sexy’ embarrassing and confusing. If I do a photo-shoot people desperately want to change me – dye my hair blonder, pluck my eyebrows, give me a fringe. Then there’s the choice of clothes. I know everyone wants a picture of me in a mini-skirt. But that’s not me. I feel uncomfortable. I’d never go out in a mini-skirt. It’s nothing to do with protecting the Hermione image. I wouldn’t do that. Personally, I don’t actually think it’s even that sexy. What’s sexy about saying, 'I’m here with my boobs out and a short skirt… have a look at everything I’ve got'? My idea of sexy is that less is more. The less you reveal the more people can wonder."
On leading a private lifestyle: "I’ve never seen a 'good behaviour' clause (she refers to her reported Warner contract) – I honestly think that’s a myth – but I actually wouldn’t ever need one. It’s just not necessary. I’m not tempted by parties or drugs. I don’t actually like being drunk, particularly in public. But I do understand why people get sucked into a party lifestyle. I can see how it happens so I’d never criticise someone who gets into all that. It can get pretty tough. But you have choices in life. If I want to lead as private and as normal a life as possible I just can’t go there. So I don’t."
On university: "Jodie Foster did it, Natalie Portman did it. I think it’s entirely possible to juggle university with filming... I actually think going to university will make me a better actress. The experience of living like that, working to deadlines, living with other students. It’s all the things I want. There are actresses who don’t know about things like doing their own laundry and getting a bus. I’m not going to be like that. For me, this is just the beginning. I’ve only shown a little bit of what I can do. There is so much more to come."
