Rupert Grint Recently Recovered From Swine Flu

Rupert Grint's publicist has revealed that he has recovered from Swine Flu, after he had to take a week off from filming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

It was only a mild case of the illness, and he'll be able to attend the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in London on Tuesday alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson. The movie is released on July 15, and his spokesman said:

"It has just been confirmed that Rupert Grint has taken a few days out of filming due to a mild case of swine flu. He has now recovered and is looking forward to joining his fellow cast members at the premieres this week and will then return to filming directly afterwards. A spokesman for Rupert's doctor has confirmed that Rupert is no longer contagious or at risk of infecting others. Other scenes were shot which did not require his involvement and thus filming was not disrupted."

Chief Medical Officer, Sir Liam Donaldson, has stated that there may be more than 100,000 more cases of swine flu every day by the time September begins. Over 7,400 cases have been confirmed thus far, and four people in the UK have sadly died of the illness. We're glad you're feeling better, Rupert!

Emma, Rupert and Daniel Get Rain Soaked At Potter Premiere

The British weather pulled out all the stops for the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince premiere in London last night, soaking stars Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe as they took their time meeting with their many fans and signing autographs outside. Bonnie Wright, Evanna Lynch, Tom Felton, Maggie Smith, Robbie Coltrane, Michael Gambon and Helena Bonham-Carter were among the cast that attended the huge Leicester Square event last night! Daniel has said he doesn't understand why girls scream for him, explaining:

"If girls like me, that's great. I go to Japan and they all scream and it all goes mad, but that's a different type of me - that's the red carpet me and that's who a lot of people seem to be attracted to, but the me that sits in a darkened room for eight hours a day watching the cricket with a big bowl of pasta in my socks and my underwear is not nearly so appealing to women."

Emma Watson looked super-stylish despite a wardrobe malfunction in her vintage Ossie Clarke dress, and all the stars wore their white ribbons to honour murdered castmate Rob Knox. Guests included Gordon Ramsay, Tom Fletcher, Daisy Lowe, Pixie Geldof, Myleene Klass, Guy Ritchie, Dermot O'Leary and many others. Weasleys and Draco Board the Harry Potter Train to Paris

Three Weasley siblings Ginny, Fred and George (aka Bonnie Wright, James Phelps and Oliver Phelps) plus Draco Malfoy (aka Tom Felton) were in Paris yesterday for the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Train Launch at Gare du Nord Station. The train will travel on an 11-city promotional tour, giving fans the chance to get up close to costumes and artefacts from the film. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint were no doubt too busy filming Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows to attend the train launch, but I'm sure we'll see them all when the sixth film premieres in the UK on 7 July ahead of its release on 15 July. I can't wait!

Dan and Rupert smiled with their onscreen enemy Draco aka Tom Felton, while Emma cuddled up with Bonnie Wright (Ginny) and Jessie Cave (Lavender Brown), as well as costars Jim Broadbent (Horace Slughorn) and Dumbledore himself Michael Gambon. Rupert looked well in a funky tee after recently recovering from Swine Flu, and Emma and Dan put their strictly platonic arms around each other. I'm looking forward to seeing the stars walk the red carpet tomorrow when the film premieres at Leicester Square. Are you excited for the release of the movie?

Emma, Daniel & Rupert Return to NYC With Their Latest Harry

The cast of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince hit New York City last night to show off their film to the eagerly awaiting American audience. Emma Watson led the show with her impeccable fashion sense, but luckily this time she skipped any wardrobe malfunctions as she chatted about hoping her college roommate isn't a huge Harry Potter fan . Emma was flanked by Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint who were joined by fans like Michelle Trachtenberg and Lance Bass. Great news for the latest in the Harry Potter franchise - the movie is supposedly on track for a great opening weekend at the box office even though we're still a week away from its release.
