Headphones aren't just for listening to music anymore. The right pair of cans can set off your outfit and act as more of an accessory than as a vehicle to rock out. Take the WESC headphones I featured last month, for example — sleek and stylish, but totally functional.

Known for being advocates of great sound quality, Monster announced their newest headphones at CES, including a new set of Beats By Dr. Dre PRODUCT (RED) headphones endorsed by my favorite celeb in attendance at CES, Lady Gaga, and a partnership with designer Vivienne Tam, who is no stranger to the tech scene — I'm still in love with her latest HP netbook.
New products to expect this year include unbreakable Jamz ($119) and Lil' Jamz headphones ($99), designed to produce high quality sound at an affordable price point.

Last year, you guys loved WESC's rectangle headphones, and this year, the brand is keeping the music bumpin' with its new Winter and seasonal collections ($40-120). Remember when I told you vinyl was making a reappearance? Well, over-the-ear headphones are coming back in a big way as well.

I've been doing a lot of running lately, and while I love listening to my iPod on long runs, I don't love that the headphones seem to pop out of my ears after a mile or so. One solution: headphones with a headband, so I was excited when I spotted the IDEA Macro Gem Headphones ($30).These pretty headphones are slim enough to fit under a hat, and come in three shiny colors: orange, purple, and silver.
They're a pretty alternative to basic black or white headphones, and even though they're shiny, they keep the bling-factor to a minimum.

The weather may be getting chilly, but that doesn't mean you should sacrifice your favorite music! These furry Ear Muff Headphones ($20) keep your ears warm while playing music through their built-in headphones. They also have an extra-long cord, so you can keep your MP3 player in your bag or pocket — which mean no cold hands!

When he's not perfecting his rumba or two step moves on Dancing With the Stars with partner Chelsie Hightower, professional snowboarder Louie Vito can be spotted with his high-class headphones — the Beats by Dr. Dre — which offer amazing audio clarity and extra large speaker drivers for exceptional deep bass. A pair will cost you $300, although you can pick up the in-ear Beats by Dr.

Running with an iPod is as essential to me as a sports bra, but the earbuds that come with it won't stay in my ears unless I'm sitting still. If you have that issue too, then check out 2XL headphones. They have a few different models depending on your ear needs, but the best part is that they're really cheap — $10 to $15 a pair.
