My friend has been talking about losing 10 pounds. I'm interested in fitness and health so I gave her a few suggestions, but her eating habits could use some more work.
I know that losing weight is a delicate subject so I don't want to offend her by offering anymore unwanted advice, but she keeps complaining about how the scale never budges.

I feel like I've been mildly depressed for the last few years, but I'm not sure. A few times a year, I always hit a super low point where I constantly cry. Eventually the sobbing turns to hyperventilation, and I end up a wreck on the floor having terrible thoughts.

I want tomorrow to be the beginning of a fresh new me! I used to be a very healthy and happy person but a few months ago I started eating badly, binging, smoking, and not exercising; basically, I just didn't take care of myself. I want to start over.

All of a sudden, I drop a glass, and start crying at what a klutz I am, Or I'm watching a commercial and a dog appears, and I'm sad because I no longer have a dog. Things that normally have no effect on me leave me in tears, then laughing at how unreasonable I'm being. I realize a lot of women go through this, so whats the best way to handle it?

I posted this yesterday (http://dearsugar.com/227360) and I'd like to get a little follow-up advice.
The notorious complainer has now written a letter to our boss, saying that i was unreasonable, disrespectful, and insensitive to her disabilities, she then made up an incident in which i was reprimanded by a member of senior management for my treatment of her. All other feedback can only be described as glowing.

I work with a woman who is a notorious complainer, known to get out of doing her work due to many "medical conditions". It's something that we've all gotten used to, but she's really crossed the line this time.

Truth be told, I've been out of school for a while now, but when Labor Day rolls around, I get that back-to-school mindset.
Similar to New Year's resolutions, the start of school, even if I don't attend classes, gets me thinking about setting some new health and fitness goals. I am recommitting to brown bag lunches, just like elementary school.
