A new poster for The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus has been released and director Terry Gilliam has also revealed more details about Heath's state of mind during filming, saying:
"Heath was just so full of ideas and fresh dialogue and so unbelievably fast and inventive. He was still, in some sense, speeding from playing The Joker, which had liberated him in a way that he had never experienced before. He was always telling me 'I am doing things in scenes that I didn't know was inside me.

About midway through watching the new international trailer for The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, I realized I was holding my breath. It's such an unusual-looking film, I don't know which words to use to describe it except to say that it left me feeling excited and a little uneasy.

When Heath Ledger tragically died last year, he left one movie unfinished, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. Terry Gilliam's project was filming at the time, and its future was uncertain, but Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell stepped in to cover the remainder of Heath's character's part in the movie and ensure that his final work could be released. It will be out in UK cinemas on October 16 so check out the trailer and let me know what you think — will you see it or skip it?

Before his tragic death, Heath Ledger had started to direct a video for Modest Mouse's song "King Rat" and the result has been unveiled this week. He worked with Daniel Auber, who he met on the set of The Brothers Grimm, to put together a video that raised the awareness of commercial whaling. Modest Mouse's website has been updated with this info:
In January of 2007, while visiting his homeland of Australia, Heath Ledger presented Isaac Brock of Modest Mouse with an idea to direct a video for their yet-to-be-released song “King Rat”.

The text at the end of this video reads: "This began with our friend, a great defender of life, and was completed in his spirit." And though the video for Modest Mouse's "King Rat" seems cutesy at first, it soon becomes clear why the words "defender of life" are included in this note about the video's director, the late Heath Ledger.
The animated video starts out seemingly sweet and innocent, with whales enjoying themselves on a boat, the colors all slate-gray and blue, with a happy little sun and trumpets blaring from the clouds.

As director Terry Gilliam says in this teaser video, his fantastical movie The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus is "full of magic and wonder, the stuff of dreams." Now having caught a few clips from the movie at Comic-Con (and you can check them out after the jump), I think that's even putting it mildly.
