Heidi Klum's Got a Good Take on Her Post-Baby Bod

Thanks to a healthy attitude - and a little encouragement from hubby Seal - Heidi Klum is working to get her body back in shape after baby number four. Still, if you're expecting the supermodel to take a turn in the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, you might be surprised to learn that she won't be walking the runway this year, but playing hostess duty instead.

In an interview with US Weekly, it seems this mom is a little more realistic when it comes to shaping up her body after giving birth. Heidi told the magazine:

"I wouldn't say I'm back in the shape yet. But I don't know. Everything changes when you get older. It was different when I was 31 with the first one. Now, being 36 with the fourth one, it's different."

It seems to me the mom is setting a realistic expectation for getting back in shape and going about it the right way. She knows that it takes some work to get the bod you want, saying that, "For me, it always works to get back into it immediately. I think that if you wait too long, it kind of sticks on and it stays there forever. I have to be motivated." Still, she's not gym-crazed or diet-obsessed, adding that she's not exercising too much for now: "I walk on the treadmill a little bit. I walk on the driveway. I'm very active with the children." Sure, she's blessed with some supermodel genes (and possibly a very long driveway), but even still, Heidi's take on weight loss seems surprisingly down-to-earth to me - do you agree?

Heidi Klum's reps confirm that she gave birth to a baby girl on Friday and they named her Lou Samuel! Lou joins big brothers Johan and Henry as well as sister Leni. Heidi recently started the process of legally changing her name to Samuel as well. Heidi has been out and about throughout her pregnancy so we've been watching her baby bump the whole time. Over the weekend her adorable kids checked out the pumpkin patch while mom and dad were taking care of the new addition. We're so excited for one of our favorite families in Hollywood. Congrats to Heidi, Seal and their growing family!

Heidi Klum on Losing Her Baby Weight

Earlier in her fourth pregnancy, Heidi Klum shared that her daughter referred to her baby bump as a "Buddha belly." Pretty cute.

As the due date of her fourth approaches, the fashionista is contemplating her post-baby body. Famous for, among other things, quickly dropping weight after the birth of her first son for a Victoria's Secret fashion show, Heidi insists that there are no tricks to her weight loss. She says:

"I've never really had any special girdle machines or anything like that. For me, it's, you know, really healthy foods, exercising, playing with the children, going to the park. Normal things."

Klum added:

"I never really put a lot of pressure on myself, but for me personally, I feel like it is always better to get into shape immediately . . . it works to kind of get back into shape, afterward, I feel great."

Heidi Klum Said She Isn't Done Bearing Babies

Once they're out of the diaper and carting-the-whole-house-everywhere-you-go phase, it's easy to see how parents can call it quits when it comes to having more children. But sometimes holding an infant or sorting through boxes of baby clothes makes them rethink their decision. Heidi Klum recently told Redbook in its July 2008 issue that she and Seal haven't reached that point. She said:

"So many people say, 'I am so done.' That hasn't come out of my mouth, and it hasn't come out of Seal's mouth either," the Project Runway host, 35, tells Redbook. "I feel like we still have one coming."

The couple has three children - Leni, 4, Henry, 2, and Johan, 1- which means another baby would make an even four. When did you know you were done having kids?

Heidi and Her Kiddies Know Ice Cream Rules!

Even supermodels have to indulge in ice cream sometimes! Mmmm, delicious. The self-proclaimed non-dieter (lucky girl) grabbed a cool treat with her three kids and mom Erna to beat the heat in Manhattan yesterday. Johan is just too precious. Recently we got to chat with Heidi and hear some more about her new projects, family life, and beauty secrets. Really, I think we'd all just love to learn a thing or two about being so effortlessly fabulous and endearing all the time.

Heidi, Seal and Kids Pay a Visit to Mickey, Dumbo & Co

Heidi, Seal and their kids are back in the states after their European Summer vacation and getting right back to the American attractions like Disneyland. The family trekked down to Anaheim for a day at the happiest place on earth including a spin in the teacups and the always popular Dumbo ride. Tell you one thing, it's a step up from an afternoon with Mickey. Of course Seal had his trusty camera along for the trip to capture yet another memorable day for what just may be one of the most fun-loving families in Hollywood.

Heidi, Henry, and Mickey's Afternoon Out

Back from their lengthy Summer family vacation around Europe, Heidi Klum and Henry spent some solo mother-son time in LA yesterday afternoon. The (sort of) almost birthday boy who turns 3 on Sept. 12 was rewarded with a ride in the cart and a balloon while shopping at Bristol Farms. Seeing Heidi and Seal's romantic getaway in Paris was one of our favorite Summer-loving moments, but it's still most heartwarming to see the supermodel just being a mom with her kids before it's off to yet another NY Fashion Week with the Project Runway crew.

Heidi Keeps It Confidential While Seal Does Daddy Karate Duty

Heidi Klum bared her baby bump last night at a bash celebrating her latest cover of LA Confidential. She was was decked out in black, though pal Debra Messing joined the fun on the red carpet in white. Meanwhile, it was Seal's turn to bring Henry, Leni, and Johan to their martial arts class. Usually Heidi's the one taking the kids to and from karate, but Seal looked happy to take over. Soon Leni will have a sister to play with, but she's right alongside her two brothers for all their playtime now. Heidi was also back on Project Runway last night with guest judge Eva Longoria - do you think the right designer went home?

Heidi Klum Is Still Karting Around Her Karate Kids

Heidi Klum brought Leni, Henry and Johan around LA yesterday including another trip to their weekly karate class. The trio are too cute all dressed up in their labeled outfits as they practice their martial arts. Heidi's due date is just around the corner at the end of the month and while she's dealing with the body changes that come with the last month of pregnancy she's still active around town. The supermodel has been all about the flowy looks recently but she's super-svelte pre-baby bump when we see her on Project Runway every Thursday night.
