Heidi Klum and Seal Come Out as Crows For Halloween Fun

Heidi Klum went all out for her 10th annual Halloween party at Voyeur in LA on Saturday. She and Seal looked amazing as they arrived dressed as black crows just weeks after welcoming their new daughter Lou. Heidi's party is always huge and she revealed that the elaborate costume planning starts every year in July. Rachel Zoe looked beautiful dressed as an Indian warrior princess with her hippie husband Rodger, while the ladies of the Vampire Diaries posed together on the red carpet. Paris and Doug managed to stand out in the crowded club when they arrived in matching white tutus, Paris dressed as a swan princess and Doug a tooth fairy.

Once inside, Heidi and Seal mingled with guests, looking unrecognizable in their incredible masks and face paint. The photo loving pair took pictures all night long as Heidi kicked off her hot boots and got comfortable on the couch. Jessica Alba and Cash Warren arrived with friends bouncing between parties as Dora the Explorer and Diego. Kelly Osbourne and her boyfriend were spotted dancing the night away, dressed as eggs and bacon. Paris showed off her moves standing on the couches, while others sipped on Heidi's signature Skyy vodka Halloween cocktails. The entire event was a quite a sight and made for some amazing celebrity sightings as the stars partied the night away.

Seal Has an Armful of Heidi Klum on His Hands

Heidi Klum had her annual Halloween party at 1 Oak in NYC on Friday night and dressed up to the nines as usual - check out all of Heidi's past years' intricate costumes here. Decked out in head-to-toe blue with six extra arms, Heidi dressed up as a Hindu goddess while Seal was an Indian warrior. Christian Siriano got in on the fun as Cruella de Vil and Kyle MacLachlan tanned himself in a white robe. As everyone danced to Nelly Heidi sang, "It's getting hot in here. I want to take my arms off." Another successful party for our favorite costumed family.

Halloween How To: Cat

Dressing up for Halloween is lots of fun, but let's face it, most of us don't want to look unattractive or scary for a night out. A witch's cat is a failsafe costume choice for flirty sex kittens and if you don't want to go all out like Heidi Klum did last year, then you can just create feline-like makeup and wear black leggings and boots.

If you're looking for something really easy to achieve, all you need to do is buy a cat mask and wear with dark purple-red lipstick. Personally I think the purr-fect eye makeup is all part of the fun, so follow my easy tips for directions on how to get that meow factor!

Face: Keep your complexion pale as this will help emphasise your dark cat features. Try a matte foundation such as Bourjois Brush Foundation (£11.95). Skip blusher as they'll be enough going on with the whiskers!
Whiskers and nose: Using a black eye pencil draw on three whiskers on each side. Start from just above your nostrils and make the lines go out as far as your cheekbones. Don't worry about making the whiskers too purr-fect, an uneven look will be more natural. If you want, draw an upside down triangle on the tip of your nose with kohl and colour it in. I'd use a pencil eyeliner but you can draw over the line in liquid if you want a glossy effect.
Eyes: Emphasise your brows to balance out the darkness of the whiskers. Try Benefit Instant Brow Pencil (£12.50) and exaggerate the arch for a kittenish vibe. Next, use a pale cream shadow over the entire lid and all the way up to the brows. Finally, take a black kohl pencil and line the upper and lower lashes. Flick the pencil out to the side to create that cat's eye effect. Follow Alexa Chung's lead and go for a winged look for added glamour. Alternatively, make like Heidi and go crazy with the gothic glitter. Try dotting Barry M Dazzle Dust (£4.50) in charcoal around the eyes for a scary puss effect.
Lips: The old beauty adage about only emphasising eyes or lips can be ignored for fancy dress. Go for strong look-at-me red lips. Just a slick of Urban Decay Iconic Lipstick (£12) in Revloution is cool for cats.
Hair: To create two cat's ears first divide the hair into two sections with a middle parting. Next, twist each section around your hands. Aim to create two buns on the top of the head to resemble ears. Pin each bun to the head using kirby grips and an elastic. Add lots of hairspray to ensure your do lasts for a night on the tiles.

Heidi is somewhat of an idol to me. Sure, she's a great model and she's our favorite TV host, but every year I await what extravagant Halloween costume is next. She started throwing her famous Halloween bash in 2001 and it has been the talk of the town every year. Hopefully, one of these Halloweens I'll be invited. I can list her past costumes without spoiling anything because you have to see them to believe them: a demonic cat, a sour apple, a vamp metal head, a voodoo princess, an alien renegade (not to mention gilded, pictured), Betty Boop, Lady Godiva, and an S&M party girl. Heidi and the Kids Get the Halloween Party Started

The Klum/Samuels are all about Halloween fun, and yesterday Heidi and the kids kicked off the festivities at the pumpkin patch in LA. Never one to miss an opportunity to dress up, Henry went for the full on face paint before helping Leni make their pumpkin selections. Last year Johan watched his siblings from Seal's arms, but now he's all grown up and riding the pony like a pro. It's always a treat to see the adorable family getting into the holiday spirit year after year, but what we're really excited for is what Heidi and Seal will come up with for their big annual Halloween bash.

Halloween is supposed to be fun, but I doubt these value bag costumes are carrying high-quality goods.
