She has always amazed us with her talent for balancing work and family, and somehow the supermodel even squeezed in a minute to talk to us! We got to ask Heidi about her family's love for playing dress up, and she said, "You can’t take yourself too seriously. It’s all about having fun and really being full participants in all aspects of our children’s lives." Lil got more in depth talking to her about her family life and the possibility of more kids, while she told Bella all her beauty routine secrets. Finally, she dished to Fab about her personal style, new jewelry line and what to expect next from Project Runway! Interview with Heidi Klum: She Can't Get Enough of Her Kids

The paparazzi often catches model mom, Heidi Klum, playing with her children - Leni, 4, Henry, 2, and Johan, 1, but there's a lot more to motherhood than what is captured in photographs. We had a chance to chat with the haute mama who had a few things to say about the experience.

We love how your children are always dressing up in costumes (and even you and Seal get into the action). What is it about dressing up that is so fun for the family? You can’t take yourself too seriously. It’s all about having fun and really being full participants in all aspects of our children’s lives.
Our readers want to know how you get that post pregnancy body runway ready so quickly. Any advice, diets, workout tips to share? I never diet, but I try to eat healthier after the baby. I also find that running around the house to keep up with three small children is a great workout in itself.

You are raising your family in Los Angeles, but are always traveling for
work and pleasure. How do you manage it all as you become such a successful business woman and active mother while still maintaining a thriving marriage? My first priority is always my children and my husband. Everything else has to come second or it just doesn’t work. No matter how busy we are, we still make the time to take a few family vacations each year that everyone participates in. I try to be home more now that I have children and don’t travel as much as I used to.
You once said, "Children are very addicting. Once they start growing up, you miss when they were little." Does this mean there will be more babies? Yes they are addicting. Each of them has their own personality and it is so amazing to see them grow and become their own person. No plans right now for more but you never know!

What's the best advice you've ever received for having beautiful hair and skin?
Keep it simple. You don’t want to over do it with too much makeup or crazy, over-the-top hairstyles. Let your natural beauty show through.

What makes your skin-care line, In An Instant, stand apart from the rest?
You get immediate results. My favorite product is the Instant Wrinkle Smoother. You just apply it to any lines on your face and they instantly disappear - it’s incredible!

Most women have days when they wake up and just don't feel attractive. Does this ever happen to you? If so, what do you do to make yourself feel better?
Of course! Everyone has their off days, and that’s normal. The important thing is to surround yourself with people who love you no matter what you might look like in the morning.

When you aren't working or attending events, what is your beauty routine?
I spend so much time wearing makeup for shoots and events that when I have downtime, I really try to let my skin breathe. It’s also important to give your skin a good scrub once in a while to rejuvenate it. That was one of the most important products when I was creating In An Instant - a great exfoliator that deep cleans your skin and helps open your pores to keep your face glowing.

Heidi Klum Spills Her Red-Carpet Beauty Secrets

Even though you and I won't be at the Oscars this weekend, it never hurts to know how to look red-carpet ready. I recently had the chance to chat with the gorgeous Heidi Klum and her team of professionals, including Victoria’s Secret makeup artist Linda Hay, and was able to pick up some great tips and tricks for looking your best at a glamorous event. Heidi also dished about what's in her handbag on the big night and how to photograph like a supermodel, so read on.

How can we cover up blemishes or undereye circles without it looking mask-like?
Linda Hay: My secret to a subtle cover-up starts with a sheer concealer that's one shade lighter than your skin. Apply it directly to the spot and blend with a concealer brush. Add a light sweep of powder to the area and the entire face, but don't pile on too much directly on the spot-otherwise it will look chalky and draw more attention.

Any tips or tricks to help us look more photogenic?
Heidi Klum: Models know how to make their faces look photogenic because they've had a lot of practice. Take a few shots on your digital camera or practice in the mirror to see what looks best. Find the spot where your chin isn't too high and you get a double chin-or too low, and you get a funny, distorted face. But on the red carpet, cameras come at you from all angles and it's impossible to pose perfectly for everyone. So I think you just need to have fun with it-because it shows if you don't!

Which types of products are essential for any evening bag?
Heidi Klum: Evening bags are getting smaller and smaller so I can only fit the bare necessities in my clutch for red carpet touch-ups. I keep Beauty Rush blotting sheets, a Very Sexy powder compact and small blush brush, and the Very Sexy lip gloss or lipstick shade I'm wearing for the evening. I check my makeup about every hour to make sure everything is in place. Then I'll use the blotting sheets, which are great alternatives to powder because you won't wind up with an inch of makeup on by the end of the night. But powder and gloss are equally important to keep your makeup looking fresh and pretty. My super-secret tip is I can't fit the powder compact into a very tiny evening bag, I'll take some shavings of the pressed powder wrapped in a tissue!

Heidi Klum. Where to begin? From the beginning, I suppose. German born Klum is no longer just a model. She is a model, actress, TV presenter, fashion designer, television producer, singer, wife and mother. No wonder Klum continues to inspire so many. She started as a model and Victoria's Secret model - that body, that face - and worked her way into our hearts hosting Project Runway and embarked on fashion projects along the way, i.e., her jewelry line and collaborating with Jordache.

Now married to Seal and the mother of three, Heidi always has a smile on her face. That is what inspires me. She is hardworking, doesn't take things for granted and seems to be a very happy person. And so, we are so excited we got an exclusive interview with the multi-tasking model! Be sure to also read her beauty interview with Bella.

Can you describe your personal style and how it has evolved over the years?

I have always had a very unique sense of style. I love bright colors and bold prints that make a statement. When I was young I was all about be-dazzling! I would be-dazzle everything from jean jackets to bags. That love for glitz and glam has stayed with me over the years but has matured. In my everyday life comfort is very important. I love throwing on a classic pair of jeans with a cozy tank and flip flops, especially when running around with the kids.

Tell us about the creative process for creating your jewelry line.

I don’t have a formal technique for designing jewelry, I just let myself become inspired by everything around me - vintage designs, trips, etc. The jewelry also reflects my personal style and the pieces I love to wear.

You have a lot of fashion projects at the moment: jewelry, sunglasses, fragrance and Birkenstocks. Is there one that particularly satisfies you the most? If so, why?

I have always been a very creative person and love having a channel to express my ideas whether it is designing products for a label or just painting with my children. I don’t have a favorite project but my jewelry line is definitely the most extensive. I have a very high end collection that I design with Mouawad, a silver collection for QVC, and a Top Model and Project Runway collection based on pieces I have worn in the shows. I also just started selling on Skymall (a guilty traveling pleasure of mine).

Is there a Heidi Klum clothing line in the future?

I just created a 15-piece capsule collection for Jordache. It was inspired by some of my favorite pieces from my closet. I wanted all the designs to be comfortable mixed with a bit of sexiness.

What new and exciting things can we expect on the next season of Project Runway?

Project Runway is always a surprise. You never know what is going to happen next and that is what keeps the show fresh and interesting. Last year was a great season so we are definitely continuing to push the envelope with design challenges. You’ll just have to wait and tune in!

Heidi Klum's Got a Good Take on Her Post-Baby Bod

Thanks to a healthy attitude - and a little encouragement from hubby Seal - Heidi Klum is working to get her body back in shape after baby number four. Still, if you're expecting the supermodel to take a turn in the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, you might be surprised to learn that she won't be walking the runway this year, but playing hostess duty instead.

In an interview with US Weekly, it seems this mom is a little more realistic when it comes to shaping up her body after giving birth. Heidi told the magazine:

"I wouldn't say I'm back in the shape yet. But I don't know. Everything changes when you get older. It was different when I was 31 with the first one. Now, being 36 with the fourth one, it's different."

It seems to me the mom is setting a realistic expectation for getting back in shape and going about it the right way. She knows that it takes some work to get the bod you want, saying that, "For me, it always works to get back into it immediately. I think that if you wait too long, it kind of sticks on and it stays there forever. I have to be motivated." Still, she's not gym-crazed or diet-obsessed, adding that she's not exercising too much for now: "I walk on the treadmill a little bit. I walk on the driveway. I'm very active with the children." Sure, she's blessed with some supermodel genes (and possibly a very long driveway), but even still, Heidi's take on weight loss seems surprisingly down-to-earth to me - do you agree?

Heidi Confidentially Talks About Taking Off Her Clothes

Heidi Klum bundled up for the cover of September's LA Confidential. We finally have Project Runway back on TV - plus, Buzz's PR Bracket is down to the final four - and Heidi's plugging away for her show. She jokes that she likes Lifetime because they fed her donuts, and says maybe they should film on the beach so she can wear a bikini. Here's more:

On Project Runway's move to LA: "People will ask us, 'Why L.A.? L.A. isn't a fashion capital.' But if you look at the history of American fashion, it started in Hollywood with designers making gowns for all the starlets. Sometimes I joke with Tim [Gunn] that we should do Project Runway on an island. 'Here's 15 minutes, now go into the bushes and find whatever you can and make an outfit.' I picture Michael [Kors] and me, super tan in our director's chairs and me in a bikini saying, 'Welcome to the runway!'"
On cohosting the Emmys last year: "Man, we got so beaten over the head for that! It's not like the four boys and I wrote it. You get hired to do it, they give you a script and you learn your lines. If I could have, I would have done the whole thing in German, with subtitles-everyone in dirndls and on swings and milking cows. Each nominee would have had to ride in on a big cow and milk it."

On her upcoming coffee-table book, Rankin's Heidilicious: "It's very naughty. I've been shooting with this photographer, Rankin, for seven years, and working with him is fun because he always makes me look different. And he always gets me to take my clothes off for some reason. We'll do some job, and then he'll say, 'Why don't we shoot some more things,' and I'll wind up without anything on."

Heidi Has Both Her Bump and Leni to Keep Her Company

Heidi Klum was all in black yesterday for meetings in LA. She was also monochrome spending an afternoon with Leni, who was quite in contrast in her bright pink ensemble over the weekend. The Klum-Samuels are back in California after their recent vacation in Hawaii, as they await the birth of the sixth family member. Heidi doesn't seem to be slowing down as her due date approaches and she's still keeping up on her nights out and revealing interviews.

Heidi Sings Lullabies and Hikes Up Her Skirts

Heidi Would Rather Dance With Seal Than With the Stars

Heidi Klum brought her three kids to the park for a lot of playtime in LA yesterday. Henry and Leni ran around chasing each other while Johan looked like he was having a blast in the sandbox. Heidi's family time has always been her number one priority ahead of her successful career, and she talks about Seal and her kids in a recent interview. Here's more:

On her family life: "I don't have the hard everyday life that so many working mothers face. [...] I have the best husband in the world. He's very involved. We talk about the kids on the way [to pick them up from school]. Then we talk with the kids on the way back."
On Seal wanting to join DWTS: "I told him, 'But Schatzi [sweetheart], they won't let us dance together."
On how she got her citizenship so she could vote for President Obama: "Having mixed-race children, I feel that when I tell them they can be anything, it now means they really can."

As much fun as it'd be to see Heidi and Seal on Dancing With the Stars, we're not surprised that these two couldn't bear to compete against each other.
