Heidi Klum Sparkles and Shines For InStyle

Heidi Klum took her big smile to the cover of InStyle for the magazine's December issue. Posing comes easily to her after all her years of experience, and in the interview she reveals her five rules for success, like finding your passion and not taking no for an answer. With Heidi it's never all serious talk, and she also opened up about Seal, singing, and style. Here are highlights:

On her husband: "Sometimes I lie in bed and I'm like, 'Oh my god, there's Seal lying next to me. What's he doing there?' I get a smile on my face immediately. Our honeymoon period is definitely not over. [We] have date nights. We go to dinner or to the movies. We like to keep it romantic. Some people wake up in the morning and turn over when they see their mate. That's not us."
On how Seal has influenced her wardrobe: "I've gotten more stylish since I've been with my husband. I was always making fun of him because he has so many leather coats, jackets and shoes. But he looks hot. I want to look good for him. So I kind of stepped it up a bit."
On her singing voice: "We sing all the time. He's always rolling his eyeballs because I'm in the wrong key. But I know he's laughing about it too. So I'm not a singer - who cares? Not everyone is Seal!"

Not everyone is Heidi Klum either, and the supermodel definitely deserves to credit herself for all her success.

Hot mama Heidi Klum continually knows how to make it work. As of late, she's been into the peek-a-boo effect with a sheer blouse and sexy bra. She couldn't have picked a better dress than the white Roland Mouret she wore at the 2008 Peabody Awards. It's futuristic, fashion-forward, and sophisticated rolled into one. Mega model Heidi Klum recently debuted her Victoria's Secret makeup line and looked damn good doing it. She got down to work, testing her makeup skills in a Cecilia De Bucourt grey stud tee, faded grey skinnies, a white studded belt, and peep toe pumps. Though there's no color in her outfit, she manages to keep it fun with the stud details, her voluminous waves and ear-to-ear smile. Now only if we could all look this gorgeous while on the job!

Fab Read: Nina Garcia's Little Black Book of Style

The season premiere of "Project Runway" may still be seven weeks away (49 days to be exact), but we've got plenty of projects to keep us satisfied. There's "Tim Gunn's Guide to Style," which we're obsessed with, and Heidi Klum's Very Sexy Makeup Collection, and now there's Nina Garcia's book The Little Black Book of Style, on sale for $13 (originally $18). This book, according to Nina, is not "A book of rules. It is a book on style." Just what you would expect from the "Project Runway" judge and ELLE fashion director.

The book itself is the LBD of fashion guides - sophisticated, elegant and timeless. It offers tips on how to: be your own muse (confidence trumps beauty), invest in wardrobe staples (ballet flats, cashmere and diamonds) and "what to wear when" (just say no to sweatsuits on planes). Overall, Nina offers very sage advice for both the savvy shopper and ensembly challenged.

Celebs Party In Style After the Golden Globes

After the trophies were handed out last night, the fun was just getting started at the Beverly Hilton. In Style and Warner Bros threw a bash that brought out big names from the night and a bunch of other stars that skipped the awards portion of the evening. Never one to miss a party in one of her family's hotels, Paris Hilton got a chance to show off her style, while Elizabeth Banks met up with her former costar Sarah Chalke. Gal pals Heidi Klum, Eva Longoria, and Kate Beckinsale caught up and shared a laugh while Emile Hirsch took the opportunity to show off his mustache to Molly Sims. Blake Lively had her fellow Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen in the house, and Leo looked happy to unwind with a drink after the long ceremony with Alan Horn, the President & COO of Warner Bros. Sneak Peek! Ann Taylor, Fall '09

Ann Taylor has really stepped it up these days. The retailer adopted a more trend-conscious aesthetic and it recently hired Heidi Klum to be its cashmere model! I'm quite impressed by its Fall collection. There is a look for every girl and the styling has been executed flawlessly. Casual denim, puffer jackets, coats, and wow-worthy red dresses and skirts are all must haves. I'm thinking this Wool Bow Coat ($295) needs to come home with me. Proceed to shop my favorite looks.
