I'm always championing hanging your clothes to dry, but if your clothesline doesn't look as picturesque as this, I don't blame you for avoiding it. Enter the HERO-365 DR-1 Drying Rack (inquire for price). Its lightweight, powder-coated aluminum, white and yellow frame has an adorable, retro, cutout trellis pattern. Each of its bars rotate outwards, allowing you to hang as many wet items as you need without hogging space during downtime. It also has a pull-up drying rack to air out your delicates, socks, etc. Who knew doing laundry could be so chic?

Partner Yoga Pose: Dog Hero

Partner Yoga poses are all about supporting one another and helping to bring your partner into a deeper, more fulfilling pose. This is one of my favorites that I call Dog Hero.

Hero pose is all about stretching through your quads, but if this pose is easy for you, when you lie on your back, you won't really feel much of a stretch. That's where your partner can help. By adding just a little weight to your thighs, and helping you stretch through your arms, this pose becomes much more intense (in a good way). Plus the person on top doing Downward Facing Dog also gets a wonderful stretch through their upper back and the backs of their legs. By joining these poses together, both of you will feel the benefits.

Here's how to get into it.

Talk to your partner and figure out who will be Partner #1 and who will be Partner #2.
Partner #1 lies down on the ground and gets into Hero pose with their arm extended over their head.
Partner #2 stands above Partner #1's head. Partner #1 grabs onto Partner #2's ankles. Then Partner #2 bends down and places their hands on Partner #1's thighs in a Downward Facing Dog position.
Make sure you talk to your partner and say things like "Is this okay? Should I move my hands? Tell me when to stop. Press harder, etc." Stay for as long as you both decide, and then switch positions so Partner #2 starts in Hero pose.

Whatever you do with your partner should feel good, and remember that the least flexible person is in charge. If you are new to yoga this probably isn't the best partner pose to try. The most important thing is to listen to each other's needs and suggestions, have an open mind, and have fun. If you loved doing this Partner Yoga pose, give Standing Straddle, Double Dog, and Double Tree a try.

Heroes: Do You Think Claire Will Side With the Circus?

This week, Noah threw his daughter to the ground while trying to defend her from Becky and Samuel! I am starting to think the circus side is a very calculating crew and that perhaps this was entirely a setup, so Claire will move even further from the life that Noah has set up for her and their hopes to the circus! Also, there is a lot of talk of "family" at the circus but this is clearly an image that Samuel has tried to create, what do you think has happened in the past? I can't wait for the background story on this bunch!

Taylor Swift, Travis Barker, and Pete Wentz Talk Band Hero

Available in stores today, Band Hero is Activision's latest game, which lets friends and family members rock out with their Guitar Hero instruments to favorites like "ABC" by the Jackson 5 and "Wannabe" by the Spice Girls. You can even sing along with other famous singers including country superstar Taylor Swift who performs some of her most popular hits like "Love Story," "You Belong With Me," and "Picture to Burn."

Here's some footage from the making of the Band Hero commercial, which includes mini-interviews with Taylor and her musical heroes including Travis Barker, and Pete Wentz.

Band Hero for the Wii costs $60.

No Doubt Suing Activision For Splitting Up the Band

Although Band Hero was just released with a star-studded lineup yesterday, and there's already word of legal trouble. No Doubt has filed suit against Activision, the maker of Band Hero, for using their likeness for songs they didn't record, as well as splitting up the band in different scenes which weren't approved. No Doubt's band manager Jim Guerinot explains:

The band [members] are bitterly disappointed that their name and likeness was taken and used without their permission. They agreed to play three No Doubt songs as a band. Activision then went and put them in 62 other songs and broke the band up [and] never even asked.

I don't know about you, but I'm a little surprised that a band as popular as No Doubt would be complaining about being "split-up" virtually and having their characters performing other tunes. It sounds a little like the other lawsuit Activision was involved in earlier this year over Kurt Cobain's avatar. What's your take on this news?

Build Your Own Missions in City of Heroes Architect Edition

I was a pretty big fan of the original version of City of Heroes (well, maybe it was more like superfan - my BF and I would bicker over whose turn it was to play), so when I was invited to check out the newest update of the game, which includes mission building tools, of course I was all over it.

City of Heroes is a MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role playing game) that lets you customize your hero with different skills and powers, as well as customize your characters' look and costume. You can select different missions (solo, or with other players online) to earn more powerful skills and points towards getting better customization options. Usually, you'll be kicking some villain butt. And now with the Architect Edition, you can design your own missions and play your friends' missions all while earning points towards even more powers and skills.

To see what I thought about the game, and who should definitely be checking it out when it hits shelves this March when you read more.

After a brief presentation with the development team, we were unleashed to create our own missions. Basically, it's like telling a story - you have this hero that has to complete a mission to earn points. What do you want him to do to earn them? I had my hero battle the evil Eddie Gobot (yes, I made all of this up) who was trying to oppress the bloggers of Paragon City, in order to control the news that was reported to its citizens. I added in some thugs, a few bosses, and a mission to hack into Gobots' computer in order to run him out of town, and I was on my way.

Since I was already familiar with City of Heroes, it was pretty easy for me to get going on building my own mission, but if you have never played COH before, it may take some practice play just to get familiar with the game, but mission building will be there for you when you're ready. Thankfully, the architect tools are a free addition to the game, so you aren't paying any extra cash to be able to make your own custom missions. Aspiring game developers take note: the mission customization tools allow you to dive as deep into the story as you want, but easy enough for beginners to grasp.

Personally, I'm excited for this new edition of City of Heroes, which will be available March 12 on your PC or Mac. Are you already a City of Heroes fan?

Peep the New Guitar For Guitar Hero 5

If you were waiting patiently for more details on the latest installment of Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero 5, then let me offer you this peek of the franchise's latest peripheral: the new guitar.

Shiny and pretty, is it not? The main changes are to the slider, which instead of analogue signals, now sends digital signals. Apparently that will lessen "the chance for error and latency," says a Neversoft exec.

Are you looking forward to GH5? I am, and until its release, I'll stick Guitar Hero on the wall.
