In celebration of BCBG's 20th anniversary, the brand's biggest fans attended the Whitney Contemporaries art and auction party in NYC. Models and actresses alike posed and partied the night away in designer Max Azria's stunning frocks. Some opted for his Herve Leger line, while others went straight for Max Azria.

Not too long ago, Hilary described her personal style to us as "classic, confident, and comfortable." I see that in what she wore to the Fifi awards this week, but she certainly upped the ante. Hilary, in origami pleated Jacques Fath, showed us how Fab accessories can make your look go from simple to stellar.

Models are always welcomed at Met's Costume Institute Gala, but since last night's exhibit was all about them, they felt way more at home. Current models like Hana Soukupova, Coco Rocha, and Isabeli Fontana mixed and mingled with classics like Stella Tennant, Alek Wek, and Maggie Rizer, as well as old-school Supers Amber Valletta, Kristen McMenamy, and Nadja Auermann (left). It was a site to be seen; one that melted my heart.

Hilary Rhoda has been a longtime favorite around here. Much like Christy Turlington, her classic American good looks make her one of the most approachable models out there. But, in Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue, Hilary proves that she can be just as sexy as she can be sweet.

There was lots of action amidst the rain at last night's NYC premiere of Grey Gardens. A couple fashion designers attended the fabulous event — Peter Som and Jason Wu — and we had the chance to chat it up with designer-of-the-moment Wu, here with model Hilary Rhoda in his design.
He spoke of his most famous fan, Michelle Obama, and on a more serious note, about managing in this ever-worsening economy.

So what if the majority of July's Bazaar contains multiple images of Hilary Rhoda, Gwyneth Paltrow, Elizabeth Hurley, and Caroline Murphy? I like them all. They are all great beauties in their own right and I thought Estée Lauder was promoted with class.

Something about viewing go-see Polaroids of models seems invasive, but cool. It's almost like getting a sneak peek of your favorite models in the comfort of their own home, without tons of makeup, without all the serious posing. For those who aren't familiar with modeling jargon, a go-see is an appointment arranged by the model or her agency as an opportunity to interview with clients.
