Lily Wigs Out and Takes Another Tumble on Stage

Lily Allen performed barefoot last night at Manchester Apollo after tripping on stage in her high heels. The accident follows hot on the heels of Lily's tumble down the stairs during the Children in Need concert last week. Having stuck with her own hair and a monochrome outfit at her gig in Sheffield the night before, Lily wore a red Preen bandage dress and a two-tone wig for her concert in Manchester yesterday. Let's hope the rest of her tour goes without a hitch.

Brad's Motorcycle and Moneyball Are Breaking Down

Brad Pitt's motorcycle broke down on his way to a meeting in LA on Thursday. He ended up having to hitch a ride with the paparazzi but the setback didn't leave him flustered. Brad looked hotter then ever with his retro shirt and cool shades while holding his "Daddy's helmet" with its adorable drawings in his lap. The actor's not having the best of luck lately - his Moneyball movie is having trouble getting off the ground as more details are revealed about what went wrong. On the bright side, many of you enjoyed his Softbank commercial and his highly anticipated Inglourious Basterds is due out next month so he still has plenty to look forward to.

Product of the Day: Animated Hitch Critter

Animated Hitch Critters (they also come in bass, dog, hog and duck form) are supposed to "give your trailer hitch a sense of humor," "provide a third brake light for added traffic safety" and maybe even start conversations with other riders. I wonder, though, how many accidents this thing has gotten people into as they strain their eyes to figure out what that flashing, waving thing is hitched to the back of the car in front of them. It's only a matter of time. (And this is from SkyMall, natch!)

North concluded his stay at Wag Hotel yesterday and, lucky for both of us, there were no problems! If you traveled (or stayed home), were there any unfortunate incidents involving your pets or did your holiday go off without a hitch? Nicole and Joel Step Nobly Onto the Red Carpet

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden hit the red carpet last night in LA for the Noble Humanitarian Awards, where he picked up an honor for his extensive charity work. We've had more than a few glimpses of Nicole since she gave birth to baby Sparrow last month, but this marks her first official outing as a mother of two. Harlow and Sparrow stayed home for the evening, but Joel happily gushed about his kids. He opened up about Harlow becoming a big sister, saying, "She loves it. She's so happy, she's just psyched. . . . She totally gets it. It fit in perfectly there – hasn't been a hitch." Things in the Richie-Madden household seem to be going great, especially amid rumors that Nicole and Joel made things official last week.

Not that I'm trying to prepare for the worst but would you adopt a pet before getting hitched . . . or lay down the law in terms of who gets the furry friend if you break up? Perhaps the case of Dexter makes me a bit too worrywart, but lemme know if you did or would make this choice and how you'd prep for the future just in case.

99 Cents Only Store Weddings Cost $0.99 On 9/09/09

Novelty dates are always popular for people getting hitched. The date 7/07/07 was especially hot because it was a Saturday, but yesterday got its fair share of nuptial attention thanks in part to the 99 Cents Only Store. In honor of 9/09/09, The 99 Cents Only Store chain hosted weddings for nine couples at its Sunset Boulevard branch.

The newlyweds paid $0.99 at the register and were then presented with $99 and 99 cents in cash, before being taken to an undisclosed "famous romantic Los Angeles" location. Congrats to the happy couples!
