2008 Soap Awards: High Glamour for Hollyoaks Girls
The Hollyoaks girls went all out for last night's 2008 Soap Awards where they scooped the most awards including Best Actor and Best Actress for Emma Rigby/Hannah Ashworth. Big hair seemed to be the rule for the day and there were plenty of metallics. Roxanne McKee bagged Sexiest Female for the second year running and looked amazing in this gold plunging neckline dress.

Stars of Hollyoaks got dressed up again this weekend as they attended a charity ball at Chester race-course. Emma Rigby and Carley Stenson went for maxi gowns, whilst onscreen sisters Gemma Merna and Jennifer Metcalfe revealed a bit of leg. Since I'm addicted to television about as much as I'm addicted to beauty and blogging, I thought this would be a great opportunity to talk about some of the brightest beauty looks from the silver screen this year. Between the trendy nail polish shades that we see every week on The Hills, Serena and Blair's amazing hair on Gossip Girl, Joan Holloway and Betty Draper's perfect red lipstick from Mad Men and the sex appeal of Billie Piper, it really depends on my mood which styles I favour the most. 2009 British Soap Awards: Best Dressed
The 2009 British Soap Awards are not just a celebration of British television, they are also a chance for the stars to get dressed up and compete to be the best dressed! This year the Hollyoaks girls gave the other soaps a run for their money, particularly Emma Rigby who wore Temperley and Ashley Slanina-Davies in Lanvin. Kara Tointon flew the flag for Eastenders in a feathery nude frock with peep toe heels, whilst Kym Marsh represented Coronation Street in a one shoulder teal number.
Emma Bunton and Peaches Celebrate Children's Champions
Host Emma Bunton was joined by lots of celebrities for the Children's Champions 2009 Awards at London's Grosvenor House last night. Peaches Geldof took time off from her Fashion Week jetsetting to attend the ceremony, which honours people who work with children. Danielle Lloyd also went floor-length and managed to smile, having revealed this week she was a victim of domestic violence.

- The mother of X Factor contestant Alexandra Burke has hit back at claims that her daughter made a sex tape saying it must be a different girl, after it was reported that Alexandra's ex is trying to sell such a tape for £100,000.
