The Hollyoaks girls went all out for last night's 2008 Soap Awards where they scooped the most awards including Best Actor and Best Actress for Emma Rigby/Hannah Ashworth. Big hair seemed to be the rule for the day and there were plenty of metallics. Roxanne McKee bagged Sexiest Female for the second year running and looked amazing in this gold plunging neckline dress. Stars of Hollyoaks got dressed up again this weekend as they attended a charity ball at Chester race-course. Emma Rigby and Carley Stenson went for maxi gowns, whilst onscreen sisters Gemma Merna and Jennifer Metcalfe revealed a bit of leg. All of the girls wore fancy heels to the event, but who do you think was the best dressed?

Since I'm addicted to television about as much as I'm addicted to beauty and blogging, I thought this would be a great opportunity to talk about some of the brightest beauty looks from the silver screen this year. Between the trendy nail polish shades that we see every week on The Hills, Serena and Blair's amazing hair on Gossip Girl, Joan Holloway and Betty Draper's perfect red lipstick from Mad Men and the sex appeal of Billie Piper, it really depends on my mood which styles I favour the most. In your opinion, which 2008 television series do you think has the best beauty looks?

2009 British Soap Awards: Best Dressed

The 2009 British Soap Awards are not just a celebration of British television, they are also a chance for the stars to get dressed up and compete to be the best dressed! This year the Hollyoaks girls gave the other soaps a run for their money, particularly Emma Rigby who wore Temperley and Ashley Slanina-Davies in Lanvin. Kara Tointon flew the flag for Eastenders in a feathery nude frock with peep toe heels, whilst Kym Marsh represented Coronation Street in a one shoulder teal number. Emmerdale star Charley Webb kept things quite simple in a Jasmine di Milo LBD and studded ankle boots. Who do you think is the best dressed?

Emma Bunton and Peaches Celebrate Children's Champions

Host Emma Bunton was joined by lots of celebrities for the Children's Champions 2009 Awards at London's Grosvenor House last night. Peaches Geldof took time off from her Fashion Week jetsetting to attend the ceremony, which honours people who work with children. Danielle Lloyd also went floor-length and managed to smile, having revealed this week she was a victim of domestic violence. My girl Bella UK wants to know do you love or hate Danielle's colourful eye shadow? Gabriella Cilmi's cute tie dress increased her fashion credentials after she was one of the worst dressed at the Brits. Tell Fab UK who you think was best dressed last night.

Best Of 2008: Celebrity Scents

Welcome to FabUK and my first post about the best of everything that fashion and beauty have brought us in 2008! The Sugar gang will also be encouraging you to vote on your favourites of the year in various network-wide polls - so keep your eyes peeled for some serious end of the year fun!

Last year, my pal BellaSugar US rounded up all of the top celebrity fragrances from 2007, and this year, I'm here to let you vote on the best newbies of the bunch. As predicted, it's been a banner year for the perfume industry with over 800 fragrances launching world-wide. British celebrities like Katie, Kate and Kylie have all released new scents, alongside popular TV show Hollyoaks.

Also, I'm sure you've heard by now that birthday girl Britney Spears is due to launch her next scent Hidden Fantasy in January - exciting stuff girls! Cast you vote below on your favourite celebrity scent of 2008.

Sugar Bits - Madonna to Give Guy Ritchie £32million

It is being reported that Madonna will give Guy Ritchie £32million in a divorce pay-off, which includes £12million cash and Madonna's £20million Ashcombe House Country Estate in Wiltshire. Guy will keep his £3 million Punchbowl pub, but has reportedly signed away any claims on Madonna's £300 million business fortune. - News of the World
The mother of X Factor contestant Alexandra Burke has hit back at claims that her daughter made a sex tape saying it must be a different girl, after it was reported that Alexandra's ex is trying to sell such a tape for £100,000. - The Mirror
Leona Lewis' "Run" has gone straight to the top of the singles charts, while Take That's The Circus went straight in at number one on the album chart. Britney Spears' album Circus took fourth place. - Reuters
Jonny Lee Miller and his new wife, actress Michele Hicks, have welcomed their first child. Buster Timothy Miller was born on Wed. in LA, and weighed 9 lbs. Congrats! - People
OJ Simpson was sentenced on Friday to 9-33 years in prison in the Nevada desert. His lawyers are appealing on the claim: "There were some grave errors made by Judge (Jackie) Glass, and we think they are strong enough to overturn the conviction. We also think we have a shot at bail." - AP
Vinnie Jones was arrested and charged with simple assault before being released on bail on Friday after a bar fight in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He was earlier treated in hospital for cuts to his face from a beer glass, and another man was arrested on charges of aggravated assault for allegedly hitting Vinnie with a glass. - BBC
Kym Marsh and her Hollyoaks boyfriend Jamie Lomas have revealed they are expecting a baby. Kym is three months pregnant and is expected to give birth early next summer. They have been together since May, following Kym's split from her husband Jack Ryder the previous November. - Daily Mail
