Woo hoo! I don't know about you, but I'm relieved the goth nail polish look is on its way out. The latest color from Essie Cosmetics is called Bachelorette Bash, $6.09. This shade is part of the new hot pink nail color Spring trend.

I happen to think that magentas, fuchsias and bright pinks are really cute, fun and fresh, although it definitely does remind me a little bit of the 80s! How do you feel about it? Can you see yourself sporting pink polish this Spring?

As far as Fall nail polish trends are concerned, I foresee lots of hot pinks, mushroom tones, smoky metallics, burnt oranges, deep, intense greens, and the return of purple - but with a little less smoke and a little more attitude. As far as textures go, think mattes, creams, and brushed, velvety finishes. But, if you're a fan of the shimmer, don't fret. There's plenty of sparkle to go around. Like most makeup collections, nail polish colors take inspiration straight from the runways, and since nails are a fashion accessory, after all, many of these recently launched polish shades come straight to us from the Fall catwalks. Let's just say I'm not bored.

Trend Alert: Poppin' Pink Nails

As the end of the season approaches, you might expect wine-toned polishes, deeper hues of blue, or smoky taupes making an entrance. But with the warm weather still going strong, it looks like bright, fun colors haven't fallen by the wayside just yet. After catching a glimpse of Kim Kardashian wearing vivid, bubble-gum pink a few days ago, I was reminded of other ladies sporting some seriously pink nails in recent weeks.

Michelle Trachtenberg Nails the Gossip Girl Look

At last night's Guess boutique party, Michelle Trachtenberg dished on the relationship drama we'll come to see on the next season of Gossip Girl. But that's not all she revealed; turns out, M.T. has a nearly photographic memory when it comes to her character's manicures.

"Not a lot of people know this, but I like to change Georgina’s nail polish color," Michelle told us. "It’s very reflective of the season. When I first came on I was wearing the Chanel that was crazy limited [Blue Satin]. In the second season, I wore Essie Wicked on my fingers. At the very end, when I was enrolling into NYU, I had a cobalt blue. For this season, we start out at first with Essie Berry Hard and now this is the OPI That's Hot! Pink. I’m really serious about her nail polish!"

Nails Inc. Celebrates Ten Years With A Charming New Collection

This year, Nails Inc. is having it's first birthday in double digits! Creator and owner Thea Green, is commemorating the ten year anniversary of her company by adding kitchy Summery and London-inspired charms to a ten-piece limited-edition collection. Five of the colours are new for Summer (these have bikini, flower pot and beach themed charms), whilst the other five are Nails Inc. cult classics (and have a royal crown, black taxi and other souvenir-style charms).

Thea, who is now a mother of two, began Nails Inc. at the age of 23 while she was also working as an asssistant fashion editor at Tatler. She was looking to bring the quick 15 minute manicures and pedicures that New York City is so famous for, to London. A decade later, the company is comprised of 450 people with 55 outlets across the UK. All of the polishes are named after streets in London and are inspired by the style of that particular neighborhood.

Each of the polishes sell for £15 and are available starting today through the end of June. Since they all come with a different charm, the idea is to get into the spirit if collecting them and wearing them around your neck, wrist or even attaching them to your phone!

Classic Shades:

Shoreditch is a bright pink polish with a black taxi charm.
South Molton Street is a sheer medium pink. This is location of the original Nails Inc. flagship store, so it's only fitting that this polish comes with a royal crown.
Victoria is a dark, blood red that comes with a Swarovski encrusted phone box charm.
St. James is a true shiny red varnish that comes with a London bus charm.
Elizabeth Street is a pale pink polish that comes with a sparkly Union Jack charm.

Trend Alert: Bright Pink Nails

Pink nail polish is making its way back on the scene and you know what that means - Spring is here! So swap your grey and black clothing for some colour, and embrace the rays of sunshine that we've been blessed with lately. Stars like Katie Price, Jessica Alba and Bianca Gascoigne have all been seen wearing flirty nail varnish to add a pop of colour to their style. Check out these three pretty pink polishes below and tell me which one you like the most!

Marian Newman Nail Polish in Fuschia (£21.53) is an adorable pink that comes in an all-in-one manicure kit. Also note that the black shade is named after Beth Ditto - how cute!

If this too purple for you, try something like Feelin' Hot-Hot-Hot! by OPI (£9.95). This perfect for the beach pink varnish is still fun, but it's slightly more subtle for those of you who are less daring. Last but not least is a shade that's been a fave of mine for a few weeks now. Essie Status Symbol (£8.95) is a modern bubblegum with a glossy finish. Happy polishing ladies!

Love It or Hate It? Jordan's Neon Pink Nails

Yesterday in London, Katie Price was spotted returning to the Mayfair Hotel. I'm not sure if she was trying to keep a low profile (after leaving her solicitor's office), however, her hot pink sunglasses and neon nails glowed through the back-seat of her van giving away her anonymity. I remember that bright, fluorescent nails were big last Summer, and I guess they're back again for round two. What do you think of Ms. Price's high wattage nail polish?

Illamasqua's New Spring/Summer Sirens Collection is Here!

A few months ago I told you about a new brand in the UK called Illamasqua that I've totally fallen in love with. The pigments are the richest I've ever encountered, the assortment of jaw-dropping colours rival MAC (no, I'm not kidding) and the textures are so creamy, velvety and luxurious that time stands still when you're at the counter. Can't you just feel my excitement!

I can't speak highly enough about this new discovery and it just keeps getting better. Last week they launched their Spring/Summer Sirens Collection and I was lucky enough to get a tour (and an incredible makeover) at their London counter at Selfridges. There before me stood a hunky young male mode getting bronzed and brightened from head to toe with the new goodies - and let me tell you, it was hot! The range was inspired by the enchanting beauty and divine appeal of the Sirens and includes corals, blues a scope of serious metallics (the star product being the liquid metals) for your eyes, face, lips, body and nails.

Nails

Muse (£12.50) is an opaque, bright teal nail varnish that you can see on the model in the photo.
Lament (£12.50) is a flirty, opaque neon coral nail polish that looks especially gorgeous on bronzed skin.

Face

Bronzing Duo (£18) is available in two shades: Glint/Burnish is a darker combo, whilst, Glint/Writhe is a little bit lighter for those with fairer skin. The Glint side is a powder highlighter and the other sides is shimmery powder bronzer.
Liquid Metal in Enrapture and Solstice (£16) are metallic cream pots that can be used on the face or body. The colours are seriously intense, so they should be used sparingly and then layered until you get your desired result. Solstice is a rich gold and Enrapture is a hearty bronze.
Fat Pencils in Fickle, Wilful and Peverse (£12.72) are fabulous multi-use products as they can be used on the eyes, lips and body.

Eyes

4-Colour Powder Eye Shadow Palette (£33.28) contains four differing blendable yet bold powder shadows in bronze, teal, blue and gold.
Shimmer Cream in Eternal (£14) is a grey and creamy eye gloss that creates a wet-look finish. Tip: It can be used all over the body not just on the eyes.

Lips

Fable Lipstick and Resist Lipstick (£14 each). Fable is a pale pink that looks great paired with a smoky eye and Resist is a deep, matte raspberry shade.
