This week's House is all about Cuddy! The show follows the harried single mom through a particularly stressful day at Princeton Plainsboro, and as such, we see the entire series of events from her perspective for a change a la the "Wilson" episode. My verdict: the woman is majorly ruthless.

Anne, Aaron, and their daughter, Iris, share their Minneapolis Cape Cod-style home with their dog, Jasper, and cat, Boxcar. The family's two-bedroom, two-bathroom home is compact but nicely sized, and they've lived there for just over five years.
Anne reports, "We've updated the house quite a bit.

There were rumblings of a Lucas spin-off from House a long time ago, and though that idea has since been nixed, don't count out the possibility of seeing another character lead their own series. Fox president Kevin Reilly recently confirmed that exec producers David Shore and Katie Jacobs have a "standing offer" to create another show, possibly a spin-off.
This begs the question: if Lucas doesn't get his own show, then who should?

Toni and Patrick, graduate students at the University of Florida, had both spent a lot of time in student housing. So when they began attending UF, they were looking for something special. Toni writes, "When we found this place with the wood floors, exposed brick, two fireplaces, front porch, great windows, and claw foot tub, we were thrilled."

"Remorse" couldn't have been a more appropriate title for this week's House. Just when you think the doc's therapy didn't have any effect on his cold heart, his conscience pops up in the form of a former med school classmate. But while House experiences pangs of guilt, his new patient Valerie can't feel the slightest tinge of, well, anything.

I've been following New Orleans-based artist Amanda Stone Talley's blog, The Big Easy Life, for a few months now, and after getting a glimpse of her new home, I knew I had to see more of it! Amanda was kind enough to share some images, as well as to chat with me about her decorating resources.
Amanda moved into her carriage house, which sits on the property of a fancy Greek Revival home in New Orleans's Garden District, only a month ago and it already looks like a spread from Elle Decor.

This week's House gave us a glimpse into the personal life of Foreman with the arrival of his straight-outta-jail brother Marcus (Orlando Jones). House, always the meddler, decides to bring the two guys together by hiring Marcus as his assistant — and of course, multiple jokes at Foreman's expense ensue. But is House just trying to get back at Foreman and, as he puts it, screw with him?

2009 brought change to the White House, but more than just a new president, it also brought technology. Continuing on the "wired White House trend," the recently released White House App — which is free for your iPhone and iPod touch — keeps you updated on the latest news, events, briefs, and real time video of the president and other White House officials.
Read The White House blog, check out official photos, and stream next week's State of the Union address on-the-go.

Designer Tess Lloyd of Australian home accessories and jewelry shop Polli recently renovated a gorgeous old house in Sydney and was kind enough to share photos with me of the changes. The project was a joint effort between Lloyd's architect mother and three girlfriends who pitched in with interior design, lighting, and color consultation. They were able to maintain many of the original architectural details of the 100-year-old home while creating a modernized space that is sunlit and uses sustainable resources.

As soon as the new year rolls around, many of us draw up to-do lists chronicling everything we'd love to do to improve our homes. I'd give myself a solid B+ on my resolutions, which included re-organizing closets and doing more every day, little house cleanings instead of major weekly ones. I also have had to add a few other items to my list that I'd conveniently forgotten about, including buying a dresser for the soon-to-arrive baby's room and whipping up a changing pad cover for the top of it (that last item still needs to be checked off).
