A lot more wearable than those PWNED Earrings, these HTML earrings manage to be both geekier (for a different reason) and chicer. Handmade by Etsy sellers Nicholas and Felice, this nerd jewelry is something I could actually see myself wearing.
Plain silver rectangles would hang from your lobes, and only a very close look would reveal that you did, indeed, close your "head" tag.

Oakland-based girl band the Hot Toddies has a very sweet doo-wop song about the perils of Internet dating.
The song is catchy enough that you'll have "W,W,W. .

Dealing with a faulty web browser that keeps crashing is like banging your head against a wall. You need it to surf the Internet, but you long to break free of all of its issues.
So if you've totally had it with your current browser (I'm talking about you, Firefox), but are afraid to separate due to your intricate organization of your bookmarks, don't be.

In this competitive job market, you have to stay on top of your game, so brushing up on your skills (or learning a few new ones) is essential to getting the job you want. I can't tell you how many people I know who have lost their jobs and decided to take a class at their local community college to learn a new skill. This is great, but they'll also be spending the next six to 12 weeks in a classroom every Thursday night while watching tons of job listings change from "Wanted" to "Filled."

I wrote about eVite and Pingg alternative Crusher when it was brand-new in 2007, but I've never actually known anyone to use it, until last week, when I got a Fourth of July invitation to a barbecue via Crusher.
I was seriously impressed: clean lines, tools like polls to figure out the best date for everyone, and awesome features like avatars and html snippets (so you could add your own maps or widgets). I was so impressed, in fact, that I started drafting up an invite for my next soiree!

Continuing on with our Geeks We Love interview series, I'd like to introduce you to Adam Pash, the editor of one of my all-time favorite blogs, Lifehacker. This past January, Adam took over the helm at Lifehacker when Gina Trapani stepped down from her position, and he's been doing an amazing job ever since. Aside from running a site that's filled with more productivity tips, organizational tools, and useful downloads than you can imagine, Adam has also co-authored the book How to Do Everything with Your iPhone and can be found whipping up helpful web applications of his very own.

I'm all about blogging as my day job, but since I started my OnSugar blog, I've been blogging on my off-hours as well. If you have your own, you may know there are tons of ways to pimp out your blog, one of which is to embed a Flickr slideshow courtesy of Flickr Slidr.
All you have to do to create slideshow magic is to choose a set from your Flickr favorites, paste the link in Flickr Slidr, and before you can say "boo-yah," you have your embed code to paste anywhere you can insert html (your Facebook profile, perhaps?).
