Twilight Leads the People's Choice Awards Nominations
The 36th annual People's Choice Awards nominees are here, and last year's Twilight is leading the charge! American Idol's Kris Allen was among the announcers this morning for the nominees, which also include lots of nods for The Proposal — but of course, everyone's favorite bloodsucking love story landed in many categories, including favorite on-screen movie team.

Hugh's hosting duties and performances landed him in our top 10 favorite Oscar moments list, and on her show yesterday, Oprah Winfrey said it was the best Oscars she's ever seen. The viewers seem to agree — ratings were up 13 percent from last year's show.

The scruffy and handsome Hugh Jackman was chosen as People's Sexiest Man Alive for 2008, perfectly lined up with the premiere of his epic Australia with Nicole Kidman. Nicole is one woman who isn't surprised by the choice, saying: "Women's jaws drop when Hugh walks into a room." Hugh talked to People about earning the title:

Relationship Protocol: Do You Have a Secret Language With Your Man?
Hugh Jackman briefly stopped by Oprah's post-Oscar special yesterday to chat about his first time hosting the big show, and when asked about his nerves before game time, he revealed that it was a secret gesture he shared with his wife — who was sitting in the sixth row — that gave him the confidence to remain cool, calm, and collected.
