Rihanna Leads the Way With Amazing Women For Glamour

Rihanna stole the show in her dramatic white dress as she and her fellow honorees took the red carpet at last night's Glamour Women of the Year celebration in NYC. Carnegie Hall was brimming with beautiful ladies from Iman to Maria Shriver and Diane von Furstenberg. Catherine Zeta-Jones stood out in blue and had Michael Douglas by her side for support. Rih was just one of a handful of women who were chosen by the magazine, but all eyes were on her - and most of you are loving the look, just the latest in her fashion metamorphosis!

Padma Lakshmi showed off her growing baby bump while one of the evening's honorees Stella McCartney smiled big with her award up on stage where she also had some trouble with her super short skirt. Amy Poehler and Michelle Obama were two of the magazine's other women of the year, though the First Lady didn't attend the event since she was with her husband President Barack Obama visiting with families at Fort Hood. The night was full of inspirational and important females who spoke and mingled, celebrating each other and Glamour's picks. Rihanna and Stella Join Fellow Women of Year

Glamour Magazine's Women of the Year gathered at Carnegie Hall in New York City yesterday to celebrate each other's successes. Rihanna and Stella McCartney were amongst those honoured, and were joined by Estelle, who performed on stage. Amy Poehler and Serena Williams collected their awards, while Catherine Zeta-Jones was one of the presenters. FabUK wants to know who do you think was best dressed? Iman was one of my favorite red-carpet queens when she wore her Donna Karan sequin halter dress a few weeks ago. Now, French actress Eva Green is here to challenge her. Let's break them down. Supermodel Iman opted for more bling via diamond bracelets and diamond drop earrings. Eva, on the other hand, kept her glimmer to a minimum by wearing a small ring and stud earrings. In the beauty department, Iman matched her lipstick to her gown, while Eva wore a contrasting burnt-orange shade. Both ladies look amazingly svelte, but who wore their Donna Karan gown better?

Gwen and James Light Up the Starry Night

Gwen Stefani led the pack yesterday at Fashion Group International's annual Night of Stars in NYC. She struck a pose in black alongside fellow designer Eva Mendes, while Dita von Teese and Evan Rachel Wood apparently managed to avoid an awkward run-in. Gucci model James Franco took a break from his other Big Apple activities to smile for the cameras next to the house's designer, Frida Giannini, and Mary J. Blige. Mary and Frida were together earlier in the day to open the new Mary J. Blige Center For Women in Yonkers, and their charitable ways continued into the evening of celebrating the year's best fashionable good deeds.

Gwen Looks Gorgeous Among The Gowns and Guys in NYC

New York was host to the Fashion International 26th Annual Night of Stars last night, where a number of celebs dressed up to walk the red carpet. Gwen Stefani looked stunning in her black dress, ditching the red lips for a night and going with nude makeup that really softened her look, Evan Rachel Wood looked great in her floor length red dress, while Eva Mendes looked a little more casual in a shorter dress with pockets - she then went on to another event in the city and FabUK wants to know if you love or hate her look. Dita von Teese looked groomed to perfection as always in her black dress, while Mark Ronson, Alex Greenwald and James Franco were among the men suiting up for the occasion. How glamorous!

John Mayer made an appearance solo as rumors about his rekindled romance with Jennifer Aniston circulate, though you guys seem to think their giving it another go is a pretty terrible idea. Today happens to be John's 32nd birthday, so it looks like he got a head start on the celebrating.

It was a lovely evening for the ballet in NYC yesterday, as celebrities gathered at the Lincoln Center for the Fall Gala. Mila Kunis posed pretty with Natalie Portman, who is having quite the cultured week in the city after checking out Jude Law's official opening at Hamlet on Tuesday. The girls are starring as rival ballet dancers in the upcoming thriller Black Swan, so it's all in the name of research for Mila and Natalie. Emmy Rossum may be in the midst of divorcing her secret husband, but she's still happy to step out with her current boyfriend, Counting Crows's Adam Duritz. He has quite the history with beautiful women - Jennifer Aniston or Mary-Louise Parker, anyone? Joanna Garcia also stood out in her sexy red dress and has been adding some new excitement to Gossip Girl as Nate's star-crossed lover Bree.

They were joined by famous faces like Wendi Murdoch and Liya Kebede for the event, which followed a day of meetings at the UN about issues affecting women of the world. The meal was hosted by Queen Rania of Jordan, who mingled with other celebs like Jessica Alba, Naomi Campbell, and Veronica Webb. The ladies' charitable work isn't the only important event going on in the Big Apple presently - Matt Damon joined Bill Clinton at the former president's conference, where Brad Pitt is expected later today.
