Barbie Takes Over Vogue Italia's Black Issue
Barbie's on a roll! After showing a rad collection at New York Fashion Week earlier this year, the icon will make her next debut as the star in Vogue Italia's upcoming Black Issue.
"Barbie has been an icon for whole generations, which is why I really wanted to give a strong sign in step with the times, and dedicate the anniversary issue to Black Barbie," said Franca Sozzani, editor in chief of Vogue Italia.

Last year, Vogue Italia made a statement with a black issue starring Jourdan Dunn and Naomi Campbell amongst others. They were shot by Steven Meisel for the issue which had four different colours. The magazine was a huge success and it has now been re-released to mark the occasion.

For Vogue Italia's May issue, Steven Meisel snapped Sasha looking like a Moroccan marvel in traditional yet stylish garb from the North African country — all, of course, with a fashion flair. Baggy harem pants ruled, as did vibrant pops of orange, raspberry, and red.
