In this spoof, James Franco gets all "method actor-y" in a pretend scene on the set of Knocked Up and he and annoyed director Judd Apatow start arguing. Apatow thinks that Franco is still sore that the television show he directed and Franco starred in ("Freaks and Geeks" ) was taken off the air. If that's the case, I feel your pain, man.

Lately we've been caught in the midst of a seemingly endless array of premieres for sequels, but today we get a breath of fresh air! Katherine Heigl and Seth Rogen walked the red carpet last night for the LA premiere of their new comedy Knocked Up. If you haven't heard about it yet, the movie opens on June 1st and is already being praised by the critics.

The biggest strength of Pineapple Express (out today in the UK) is the brilliant chemistry between Seth Rogen as stoner Dale Denton and the yummy James Franco as his dealer Saul Silver. I have fond memories of the two actors working together when they were younger in one of my favourite TV shows Freaks and Geeks, so seeing them reunited in this movie was fun on a couple of levels for me.
Both Dale and Saul are the typical emotionally-stunted guys you see in a Judd Apatow produced movie (see Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Knocked Up etc).

Apparently Jessica and Cash didn't have time to take advantage of being in Paris after Eva and Tony's wedding, because the two were at the airport on their way out yesterday morning. And don't they just look thrilled as usual (though I'm loving her coat)? Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer may have been a bit overshadowed by the other Summer blockbusters, but the Teen Choice Awards committee took notice and nominated Jessica for 3 awards: Hissy Fit, Female Hottie, Action Adventure Actress.
