Singer-songwriter Jason Mraz has apparently made history with his single "I'm Yours." The song has spent 70 weeks on Billboard's "Hot 100," making it the longest-running song in the chart's 51-year history. Previously, LeAnn Rimes held the record with her 1998 song "How Do I Live."

American singer Jason Mraz is coming to the UK in April, to embark on a mini tour with dates in London, Manchester, Dublin and Birmingham. He's best known for the song "I'm Yours", but I have the video here for his next single — "Make It Mine"— out on 13 April. It's a sunny song with a fun video, but I want to know if you'll spin it or sling it, so let me know!

While the ladies are usually the red carpet highlight of an award show, the Grammys wouldn't have been complete without its musical men. The Jonas Brothers continued their streak of going all out in tuxes, with Joe rocking an extra shiny jacket. Jay-Z also went formal as he gave a hug to his friend Chris Martin before they took the stage together inside the show.

I don't think this is a remarkably genius song, but it is very sweet and manages to tug on my heartstrings a little. Jason Mraz pairs up with Colbie Caillat on "Lucky," a cute ode to love that's full of gratitude and contentment. In the video, the two singers are in separate locations, dreamily musing about how fortunate they are.

Tuesdays are big in entertainment-ville: Not only do all the new DVD releases hit Netflix, but new music also pours into stores, including iTunes. So I take a spin through each week's iTunes music releases and pick out some albums and tracks worthy of a download. Here are today's selections:
Just in time for summer: I've been excitedly anticipating the release of this new Death Cab for Cutie album for a while now.

The 2009 Teen Choice Awards took place yesterday in LA, with all the stars of the past year's charts, movies and TV shows turning up to be awarded by teens. The show is yet to air in both the US and UK, but Twilight took home a whole host of awards (check out the winners list under the cut for spoilers) as did Gossip Girl and the Jonas Brothers. Kristen Stewart looked like she was taking tips from Robert Pattinson with her big hair, and wore a seriously cool spiky skirt, while Leighton looked sexy in stripes!

Last night American Idol finalists Kris Allen and Adam Lambert took the stage for the last time, joined by former contestants and big stars alike. Nicole Richie enjoyed her dad's duet with Danny Gokey with Joel and her little sister Sophia, while Victoria and Romeo Beckham took seats in the audience as well. As promised, the night was full of fun surprises from Kara's surprise sing along (and smokin' hot bikini body — who knew?) to an awesome rendition of "We Are the Champions" featuring Queen.

The Grammys may seem like one of the longest shows of Award Season, but last night they mixed it up with some exciting performances. The show kicked off with U2 starring Bono, but the absence of Chris Brown and Rihanna was quickly felt. Justin Timberlake, Al Green, Keith Urban and Boyz II Men all stepped in to form a hodge podge second performance of the night while the young couple dealt with assault allegations and drama.

Since we just celebrated the summer solstice, I thought we should honor it with a summertime playlist. Many of these songs are from the 60s or 70s, but they're tunes we know and love, and they're all about the summer. It's a great little mix for an afternoon jog or BBQ.
