It was a special night about fashion for Diane, who's been busy with movie events like the Santa Barbara Film Festival and the Hollywood Awards. She opened up about how perfect Jason's dresses are for hitting the red carpet, and his gowns should come in handy with all the press she'll have to do for her upcoming projects.

Trend Alert: Colourful Lips For Spring
OK, so bold, bright fruit-punch coloured lipstick isn't groundbreaking for Spring, but it sure was a welcome change from all of the barely made up faces that we saw on the catwalks during New York Spring 2010 Fashion Week. 2010 Spring New York Trend Alert: Naranja
Though I don't have a lot of it in my closet (do any of us?), I quite enjoy naranja, aka orange. It's optimistic, energizing, youthful — it is FitSugar's color, after all. Amongst all the white, neutrals, and grays of Spring, orange stood out to me at once.

Whew! So much has happened over the last three days, and there's been lots of amazing hair and makeup. As I see more shows, I'm happy to report that quite a few of the Spring trends are very pretty and totally wearable.

I couldn't help but ask myself, "Would Michelle Obama wear that?", while checking out Jason Wu's tantalizing Spring collection. Indeed, I saw a couple pretty dresses that Michelle would jump for, but his creations aren't just for the First Lady. Any cutie would be so lucky to don his array of youthful separates and magical frocks.

While I physically and mentally prepare myself for New York Fashion Week, designers are hard at work putting finishing touches on their creations. This past weekend was extra special because I attended the Oscar de la Renta fashion show in Lake Tahoe — 'twas fun! It was an annual charity soiree hosted by Saks Fifth Avenue and the League to Save Lake Tahoe, so I needed you to help me seek an elegant ensemble.
