Natalie Portman knows how to turn up the volume. At the NYC screening of her new flick, Brothers - btw, she has her first onscreen sex scene in it - the actress wasn't afraid to experiment with color. Her ultraviolet taffeta Jason Wu frock is fun, but a green satin belt, purple Aldo peep-toe pumps, and bright yellow clutch kick it up a few notches. Color me inspired.

Brit in New York Alexa Chung has been busy this week attending parties and award shows. The MTV presenter started the week at the CFDAs with Jason Wu where she wore one of his frocks. She then attended the mtvU Woodie Awards in a sailor dress before heading to the New Moon premiere in a navy blue prom dress with natural makeup. Out of these three looks, which is the most fab?

Kristen Stewart Style, Post-Twilight, Present-New Moon

Ever since Twilight, we've been watching Bella Swan, I mean, Kristen Stewart, like a hawk. Her street style hasn't changed much - jeans, tee, and leather jacket are her usual M.O. - but her red carpet looks have evolved into something magical. In the beginning of her post-Twilight stardom, the actress shied away from elaborate gowns and funky frocks, but times have changed and so has Kristen. As of late, the star has been dazzling us with head-to-toe designer looks from the likes of Jason Wu, Alexander McQueen, and Oscar de la Renta, to name a few. Hottie Robert Pattinson as arm candy doesn't hurt, either. Is it just me, or is the shy wallflower starting to bloom into an elegant rose? See what I'm talking about!

She donned the sweetly embellished frock at a New Moon benefit screening in Knoxville, TN. The sweetheart neck and flared silhouette are darling, and the belt adds further polish. Jason Wu Takes on Tse

There's more reason to love Wu now that the designer has taken on a new project: designing a capsule collection for Tse. “When she [Tse's CEO, Christina Peng-Gerschultz] asked me if I wanted to do a capsule [line], I thought, ‘This could be interesting,’” said Wu. “In many ways, I am probably the least expected designer to do this, because Tse’s aesthetic is so different from my own, but that’s one reason I wanted to do it.”

The collection will be comprised of woven and knitwear pieces dipped in colorful hues. Tse, who currently works with Wu on producing his knitwear pieces, will debut the Fall '10 limited-edition capsule collection in February during New York Fashion Week. Prices are TBD, but we do know the line will hit Tse stores in July.

The author is Mary Tomer, the same person who started the Mrs. O blog, which reports about Michelle's daily outfits.

Diane Kruger Joins Fellow Wu Girls Jessica and Lily

Diane Kruger joined Jessica Stroup and Lily Collins in LA last night to preview Jason Wu's Spring 2010 collection at Neiman Marcus. It was a special night about fashion for Diane, who's been busy with movie events like the Santa Barbara Film Festival and the Hollywood Awards. She opened up about how perfect Jason's dresses are for hitting the red carpet, and his gowns should come in handy with all the press she'll have to do for her upcoming projects.

Diane Kruger was the host. Jason Wu, the designer. Jessica Stroup, Amber Heard, Katie Cassidy, and Lily Collins - envious emerging talent - the supporting cast. Neiman Marcus, the venue. A small gathering of some Fab favorites occurred yesterday to preview Wu's feminine cool collection. Normally, I would have you choose the most Fab, but, honestly, they all looked awesome in the designer's spunky dresses and ladylike separates. Why did Diane host? Easy: she loves Jason Wu. She compares him to Chanel - his clothes span generations. As well, his creations are "sexy yet traditional." Well said Diane, go behind the seams!

2010 Spring New York Trend Alert: Naranja

Though I don't have a lot of it in my closet (do any of us?), I quite enjoy naranja, aka orange. It's optimistic, energizing, youthful - it is FitSugar's color, after all. Amongst all the white, neutrals, and grays of Spring, orange stood out to me at once. Red is Fall's favorite fiery hue, so it's no surprise its tangy sister has stepped in for Spring. Diane von Furstenberg didn't hold back - Chanel Iman is double layered in orange goodness. In need of a new outlook on life? Nibble on some naranja.
