John Mayer Talks TwitPics and Decides to Get a Kindle 2

When PopSugar recently chatted with John Mayer about attending the Oscars with Jennifer Aniston, and he even opened up about his Twitter habits and his new found interest in TwitPic. Here's what he had to say about it:

"So the other night I was sitting up in bed because I couldn’t sleep. And I found out that if you go to a TwitPic, whatever one it is, and if you just start messing with the sequential order of the link, so if its like a1m2 go to a1m3, and it's someone else’s photograph. So we just started Twittering."

He even admitted to putting up a picture on TwitPic and claiming it was a friend:

"We were finding other peoples TwitPics. Look at TwitPic.com with a savvy eye, and you’ll see American life at its most amazing. You’ll see through a lens of people you’d never meet. This is my brother Doug. This is. . . I’m taking a bike ride with Eric Childs. It’s ridiculous. I’m trying to find a new frontier for Twitter. There’s an art form somewhere there, I don’t know what it is yet."

I love how John is becoming just as enamored with Twitter as Ashton. Yesterday John even posted a Tweet announcing that he's going to pick up a Kindle 2. "It takes something that costs 300 bucks to get me to read a 1.50 cent paper on it." I completely agree. I'm the one still hoping and wishing for a price drop.

Jennifer Aniston Talks Heroes and Villians, Realism and Roles

Jennifer Aniston is the gorgeous cover star of this month's Elle UK magazine, and she talks to the April issue about talking to the press, taking care of her body, and being a Bond girl. Here are some extracts:

On the press:"No matter what I say, things will always be taken out of context and misinterpreted, will always be turned around to make it seem as though I won’t let something go, or that I just keep talking about it over and over. I don’t owe anybody anything. I don’t owe anybody my side of the story. There are no sides! There is no bad guy and there is no good guy. There are no villains and there is no heroine in this story. It’s just not the case."
On life:"I remind myself every day that I am lucky. Look what’s out there. Look what people are really living through. There’s no comparison. I am happy."
On taking care of herself:"I’m a realist,’ she says. ‘I know that if I eat nothing but burgers and chips, I’m not going to be hired for the parts I normally would. That might be fine one day, but not right now."
On romantic roles vs action movies: "I get offered funny, quirky, pretty roles. I’d love to do an action movie. James Bond! Glamour! Daniel Craig! Shit-loads of fun!"

Angelina Talks About Brad, Jen and Her Family

Angelina has never really spoken about falling in love with Brad and how their relationship developed. For the first time she is telling all about meeting him on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, falling in love and the life they share with their three kids. She is also speaking a bit about meeting Jen. Here's more:

"Not as exciting as what a lot of people would like to believe," Jolie said. "We spent a lot of time contemplating and thinking and talking about what we both wanted in life and realized that we wanted very, very similar things."

"And then we just continued to take time. We remained very, very good friends - with this realization - for a long time," she added.

"And then life developed in a way where we could be together, where it felt like something we would do, we should do."

Jolie said she has only briefly met Aniston and would gladly sit down with her - but only of the "Friends" star asked to do so.

"I did [once meet Aniston], but it was not a proper meeting. We've, like, passed each other and said 'hi' briefly, shook hands. But not a real sit-down-and-talk kind of meeting," Jolie said.

"That would be her decision [for a long sit-down], and I would welcome it."

In her first in-depth words about life as half of Tinseltown's first couple, Jolie tells Vogue magazine she never wanted to ruin Pitt's marriage to actress Jennifer Aniston - it just happened that way.

"I didn't know much about exactly where Brad was in his personal life [when they met on the set of "Smith"]. But it was clear he was with his best friend, someone he loves and respects," Jolie said in a revealing interview in the magazine's January issue.

"And so we were both living, I suppose, very full lives."

Jolie said she was committed to life as a single mom when she was paired with Pitt in the espionage action flick.

"Brad was a huge surprise to me," she said. "I, like most people, had a very distant impression of him from . . . the media.

"I think we were the last two people who were looking for a relationship. I certainly wasn't," she said. "I was quite content to be a single mom."

The "Tomb Raider" babe admitted she was thrilled working with Pitt every day while shooting "Smith" in 2003 and 2004.

"Because of the film, we ended up being brought together to do all these crazy things, and I think we found this strange friendship and partnership that kind of just suddenly happened. I think a few months in I realized, 'God, I can't wait to get to work,' " she said.

"Whether it was shooting a scene or arguing about a scene or gun practice or dance class or doing stunts - anything we had to do with each other, we just found a lot of joy in it together and a lot of real teamwork. We just became kind of a pair."

While Jolie adamantly insisted she and Pitt were not seeking to pair up, the pouty-lipped bombshell confessed they were tempted to make more of what they had.

"And it took until, really, the end of the shoot for us, I think, to realize that it might mean something more than we'd earlier allowed ourselves to believe," Jolie said. "And both knowing that the reality of that was a big thing, something that was going to take a lot of serious consideration."

Jolie said she and Pitt remained "very, very good friends" after shooting "Smith." They were resigned to staying nothing more than pals, Jolie said, until Pitt and Aniston announced their breakup in early 2005.

Pitt and Aniston filed for divorce that spring, amid rampant reports that the Hollywood hunk had his eye on Jolie the whole time.

Vogue didn't directly press Jolie on whether she and Pitt fooled around behind Aniston's back. But Jolie said she realized, early on, that she shared a deep, emotional bond with Pitt before they formally hooked up post-Aniston.

Jolie said she doesn't plan to marry Pitt, but they're committed to raising their boy and two girls.

She gave birth to their daughter, Shiloh, earlier this year, after adopting Maddox from Cambodia in 2002 and taking in Zahara from Ethiopia in 2005.

"We both have been married before, so it's not marriage that's necessarily kept some people together.

"We are legally bound to our children, not to each other, and I think that's the most important thing," she said.

Jolie said she hasn't spoken to her dad, actor Jon Voight, for five years.

Although she keeps up with mom Marcheline Bertrand, Jolie said she doesn't allow many people into her inner circle.

"I don't trust anyone," Jolie admitted.

"I don't think it's a good thing. This is going to make you think that maybe I should get some therapy, but trust is such a bizarre word. I'd like to say that I trust my mother, but I also don't know if she might do something that she thinks is in my best interest.

Still, "I trust Brad will never do anything," she said.

But after a few moments, Jolie then added, "I don't know. I don't trust anybody completely."

Jolie said she won't wear emotions on her sleeve - because it wouldn't do her any good.

"It's not going to accomplish anything to cry. It's not going to help you to get a hug!" she said.

"I'm not a hugger. People make fun of me. It's something that I have a hard time with. If someone hugs me, I hold my breath. Snuggling, cuddling, hugging, crying . . . all that stuff makes me very uncomfortable."

Except when it comes to her kids, the star said.

"Oh, I love hugging my kids," she quickly added. "It's a different thing because you feel such a genuine grab from them."

The actress, once married to Hollywood bad-boy Billy Bob Thornton, conceded that she once lived life too close to the edge.

That all changed once she had children.

"I'm committed to the future now," Jolie said. "I'm committed to life. I think definitely before my son, I was a little nihilistic. But once I adopted Mad [Maddox], I knew I was never going to be intentionally self-destructive again."

"I'm starting to be able to see being 50 years old with the kids graduating from high school."

Vogue's glossy, 14-page spread on Jolie includes several shots by famed celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz.

The 31-year-old Jolie managed to ooze sexuality in the magazine package, even as she showed off her passion for motorcycles and flying in the unforgiving California desert.

She's in the upcoming Robert De Niro spy thriller, "The Good Shepherd," starring alongside Matt Damon.

The flick premiered at the Ziegfeld Theater in Midtown last night, and she and Pitt immediately stole the show as soon as they hit the red carpet.

Jolie's next big flick will be portraying the wife of murdered journalist Daniel Pearl in "A Mighty Heart." It was a role that Aniston had once said she would "love" to play.

Jolie said it was her children - basically Maddox - who ultimately cemented her relationship with Pitt as a family.

One day, Maddox "just out of the blue called him Dad," she said. "It was amazing. We were playing with cars on the floor of a hotel room, and we both heard it and didn't say anything and just looked at each other.

"So that was probably the most defining moment, when he decided that we would all be a family," she said.

Jolie said that in addition to Pitt being a great dad, he has a "wicked sense of humor" and, "He's a great challenge to me."

"We're constantly in competition with each other," she said. "He's somebody I admire based on the way he lives his life."

This weekend the GLAAD Awards included a ton of top TV names and some huge A-listers like Jennifer Aniston and Jake Gyllenhaal. Black and white was obviously the theme of the night but the show wasn't hurting for color either. Jennifer Aniston looked unbelievable in her sexy short black dress. Last night big stars came out to thank their fans who voted for them to take home the prize of The People's Choice. It's great that the stars see these awards as important since there are so many events coming up, but the other shows are based on the critics, the press or their peers while this one is actually based on us! You know, the ones that actually pay money to see them on the big screen, buy their CDs, and more. Congrats to all the winners which included Johnny Depp, Jennifer Aniston, Cameron Diaz and Ellen Degeneres. My favorite winner of the night was Patrick Dempsey. Jennifer Meyer's Celebrity Baby Shower

Like Africa, another celebrity trend is to get pregnant before getting married. Jennifer Meyer and Tobey Maguire are the latest on that route. Jennifer's daddy is president of Universal Studios so she's no stranger to the A-list lifestyle. She has found her calling by creating an extremely successful and beautiful jewelry line. We know Jennifer Aniston is a huge fan and she was just one of the many who came out to Jennifer's baby shower this weekend. The girls-only "mellow" baby shower on Sunday also included Courteney Cox, Jennifer Garner, Kate Hudson, Nicky Hilton and more. The ladies took home fabulous gift bags, and Tobey even made an appearance at the end. Jennifer M. is one lucky spidey-lady! People reports:

Around the Meyer family pool and lawn overlooking the Pacific Ocean (Jennifer's dad, Ron Meyer, presides over Universal Studios), the women passed the time swilling lemonade and eating such organic hors d'oeuvres as sesame shrimp and chicken skewers before the buffet lunch and lavish dessert table.

"It was a very mellow afternoon," says one guest. "It was a totally easy breezy, chill shower. No shower games. No present opening. Just hanging out."

Not that there weren't gifts. The mom-to-be got goodies from L.A. baby boutique Petit Tresor and parenting advice from Hudson, her friend since childhood.

Disobeying the women-only rule, Spider-Man star and dad-to-be Maguire poked his head into the party around 30 minutes before it wrapped up, only to be showered – appropriately – with kisses.

Jennifer's Broadway Debut

Jen made her big Broadway debut last night and to no surprise, she was a total hit. She starred in the 6th Annual 24 Hour Plays on Broadway benefit, starring in a 10 minute play called Three Girls and Bob. In the quicky performance, she played a single woman who attended an intimacy workshop with her girlfriends. And we hear everyone loved working with Jennifer. People reports:

Costar Perez – who is on the board of the event's beneficiary, Working Playground, which brings arts education to New York City classrooms – tells PEOPLE that Aniston lent star wattage to the event. "We had a real boost from Jennifer Aniston," she said. "She was as sweet as pie. I really appreciated her coming because she raised the profile of tonight's event and that is going to help so much. She didn't have to do this. She didn't have to take time out of her schedule."

How did Aniston get involved? "The 24 Hour Plays people approached her and she said yes. But when she found out about Working Playground, she was over the moon. She said, 'I'll do all the press. I'll do whatever you want.' "

Perez liked her acting, too: "She's got chops. She said she had performed Off-Broadway. She's really, really good."

"She's a total pro," said Elizabeth Berkeley, who starred in another work performed Monday night. Other actors filling stages around Times Square included Anna Paquin, Gaby Hoffman, Kieran Culkin, Rachel Dratch, Julianna Margulies, Sam Rockwell, Liev Schreiber and Fisher Stevens.

Jennifer Aniston headed to work on He's Just Not That Into You in LA yesterday. We've been waiting for Jen to get back in front of the camera, and we're even more excited to see that she's not wearing a ridiculous costume. This movie is full of cute guys, but we're thinking that Jen and Bradley Cooper would look cute together, you know, since they have so much in common and they've already supposedly been seen out together and all.

Jennifer Aniston thanked her fans as she won Favorite Female Movie Star. She looked amazing in that dress and did you notice that gorgeous ring?!?! The actress may not have the highest grossing films, but she is clearly still a fan favorite. Jennifer also joked that she sure loved "The Break Up" but was she referring to the movie or what she just went through? She still had kind words to say about her funny co-star so we'll just assume it was not intentional.
