Ben Affleck Heads West to Join His California Girls

Ben Affleck was back home in LA on Saturday morning after spending months in Boston working on The Town. He had stuck around the East Coast for a few weeks longer than Jennifer and their daughters, who headed back to LA for Violet to go to school. Ben was off taking care of other business that afternoon, when Jennifer treated Violet to ice cream. It was Seraphina's turn for fun with mom by the evening, when Jennifer took her to a friend's party. Ben and Violet then went on to share some special father-daughter time last night, when they headed out to grab dinner and she emerged with a face adorably covered in spaghetti sauce.

Ben Takes the Town While His Girls Have Fun in the City

Violet Affleck was full of energy after another day of school in LA yesterday. Mom Jennifer Garner was right behind, with her hands full of Violet's many accessories. Later in the afternoon, Jen was off taking care of some business while Violet and Seraphina took a walk with their nanny. Violet was still looking enthusiastic, as she kept pace alongside Seraphina.

Ben, meanwhile, was still hard at work on The Town in Boston. He had Jon Hamm and Rebecca Hall for company, though, as they spent the afternoon filming around the city's financial district. Ben and his cast are back in Massachusetts after a recent trip to Connecticut, where they shot gambling scenes at the Mohegan Sun casino.

Jennifer, Violet and Seraphina Share a Special Sunday

Jennifer Garner was in charge of Violet's school run all week, and once yesterday rolled around she took advantage of the chance to catch up on some shopping. Violet was by her mom's side for a trip to Gelson's supermarket, and two of her dolls even went along for the trip. Seraphina completed their trio for dinner, when they all grabbed a bite at Toscana in Brentwood. It's been a few weeks since Jennifer and her girls headed back to California to resume their regular routine while Ben finishes up work on The Town in Boston, but hopefully soon there will be a reunion for the foursome on either the East or West Coast.

She met up with fellow Valentine's Day actress Jessica Biel, while another of their many costars in the film, Emma Roberts, was also at the restaurant. Jessica left with a big smile on her face amid rumors that she and JT have a new relationship status, though she was on The Tonight Show yesterday discussing her "girl crush" on Jennifer.

Jennifer Garner brought Violet and Seraphina out for a fun morning at a LA park on Saturday. The girls are continuing to enjoy their time on the West Coast, after a few months in Boston with Ben Affleck as he works on The Town. Violet wasn't socializing with her new feathered friends, but she did have little sister Seraphina to keep her company on the swings. The girls were back to their weekday school routine bright and early this morning as Jen dropped Violet off for school. Meanwhile, Ben had a blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo on last night's Curb Your Enthusiasm, sneaking past in the background during the Banana Republic fire drill.

Jennifer Has a Saturday Stroll With Violet and Seraphina

Jennifer Garner kicked off her Halloween in Boston with a morning outing alongside Violet and Seraphina. The girls had yet to be decked out in their costumes, but Violet was sporting a pair of shades from her fun sunglasses collection. The girls took turns in the stroller and getting carried by mom when Violet's little legs got tired. Hopefully Violet stored up some energy for the evening, which was sure to have included trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. Ben wasn't with his girls, but he was spotted on the set of The Town today with costar Jon Hamm.
