Stars Keep the Color to a Minimum at Elton's Oscars Party

We've already had one look inside Elton John's Oscars bash, but the fashion highlights came as celebs headed inside the event. Rachel Zoe picked a YSL dress in a simple black, which looks fantastic alongside Chace Crawford's classic tux. Salma Hayek and Hayden Panettiere added a little color to the proceedings, while Victoria Beckham picked a gown from her own upcoming Fall collection.

Mad Men's Christina Hendricks and Glee's Lea Michele stuck with the black theme, each choosing dresses that also incorporated unexpected volume. Kelly Osbourne instead went with a light tone, while Heidi Klum kept things short and sweet. Jason Lewis added a little more sexiness to the proceedings, as Hollywood partied around town at the Governors Ball and Vanity Fair bash as well.

Elton John Plays Host to Posh, Heidi, and More at His Oscars Afterparty!

While the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty was one hot ticket at LA's Sunset Towers, Elton John played host at his 18th annual AIDS Foundation bash at the Pacific Design Center. Elton's fellow Brit Simon Cowell came out with his fiancee, Mezhgan Hussainy, and Victoria Beckham turned out for the second year in a row to mingle with pal Heidi Klum. Nicole Richie struck a little pose with Rachel Zoe, while Glee's Lea Michele dug into the dinner and Salma Hayek arrived in her leather jacket. Chace Crawford is a frequent guest at Elton's soirees, and he chatted with the host as Jamie Foxx escorted his lady friend Stacey Dash.

Jennifer Hudson made the social rounds in a blue gown, which turned out to be one of the big colors of the evening. Nicole and Joel Madden shared a moment after his turn as the show's official DJ, as the three Jonas brothers hung out nearby. Elton's glasses matched Betty White's own blue dress, as they celebrated her The Proposal costar Sandra Bullock's big win. Miley Cyrus took a break from her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth to smile for photos with Joaquin Phoenix as the fun times continued at one of the biggest bashes of the year.

British Stars Party at Elton John's Oscars Bash

Elton John hosted his 18th Annual AIDS Foundation Oscars Party at Pacific Design Center last night. He was joined by a host of fellow British stars, including last year's attendees Katie Price, Victoria Beckham and Terri Seymour, who posed solo this time as her date from the 2009 bash Simon Cowell brought his new squeeze Mezhgan Hussainy. Joining other red carpet beauties, Kate and Victoria both made it onto FabUK's best dressed list: who is your favourite?

A lavender haired Kelly Osbourne brought her mum Sharon as her date, while Kelly Brook posed solo on the red carpet. All these British stars were joined by American friends like Heidi Klum and Chace Crawford, who bucked the bow tie trend in his suit and tie. The Musical World Gets Together to Help Haiti

One day after music's biggest stars gathered in LA for the Grammys, many of them reconvened at the Jim Henson studios yesterday to record a new version of "We Are the World." The premiere of the single, which benefits Haiti, will take place during the Feb. 12 broadcast of the Vancouver Olympics opening ceremony on NBC. Kanye West was fresh from the French couture shows to join Jennifer Hudson and Wyclef Jean, while Joel Madden brought along little Harlow, who apparently flirted with the Jonas Brothers and Kanye. Benji Madden chatted with Rashida Jones, while Justin Bieber and Harry Connick Jr. mingled with Vince Vaughn.

Nicole Richie was there with Joel and Harlow, later joking, "I hope Jennifer Hudson wasn't upset that I was out singing her tonight." Lil Wayne had a little solo studio time, while Miley Cyrus and Pink bonded for a bit. Celine Dion, meanwhile, looked happy to share a moment with all three Jonas Brothers. Rashida's father, legendary producer Quincy Jones, was the man behind the original version of the song produced 25 years ago, and he was there again leading Hollywood's latest effort to help Haiti while also honoring Michael Jackson.

Taylor, Beyonce and Jay-Z Win Big at the Grammy Awards

The Grammy Awards took over LA's Shrine Auditorium Sunday night, with many of music's biggest stars heading in from the red carpet to see who took home gold. Kicking off the show was a performance from Lady Gaga, which featured a special duet with Elton John in special Gaga-esque makeup and glasses. Beyonce Knowles wasn't able to accept her statue for Song of the Year, which she won for "Single Ladies," since she was getting ready to take the stage and sing a cover of Alanis Morissette's "You Oughta Know" - watch it here. Ryan Seacrest was soon up to introduce Miss Swift, who joined legendary Stevie Nicks for a rendition of "Rhiannon." Britney stuck close to Jason Trawick all night long. One of the night's cutest moments was when Rihanna and Jay-Z brought up his nephew, Solange Knowles's son Julez, onstage to accept for "Run This Town," though he politely answered "no thanks" when asked if he wanted to say anything to the crowd - check out all the winners on Buzz!

Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas were together for an energetic mix of their recent hits, but it was the Michael Jackson tribute that took things to another level. Lionel Richie introduced a group of artists including Usher, Celine Dion and Carrie Underwood to sing Michael's "Earth Song." The piece was interestingly broadcast in 3-D, though they were back to regular 2-D when Michael's kids Paris and Prince came out to accept an honorary award on behalf of their father. Another touching moment came when Mary J. Blige and Andrea Bocelli performed "Bridge Over Troubled Water" as a tribute to the people of Haiti. It was Beyonce herself who won the Best Female Pop Performance, and she adorably thanked her husband Jay-Z in the front row, even breaking from their usual super-private strategy saying, "I love you!" The biggest honor of the night went to Taylor Swift with her Album of the Year award, making it a pretty sweet night for the star after also winning Country Album of the Year. Afterward she stepped back to the press room to chat about her big wins!

Glamorous Girls Go Nude and Navy For Grammys Red Carpet!

The 2010 Grammy Awards red carpet brought angelic looks from some of the night's biggest stars - Carrie Underwood and Rihanna both stood out in white after bringing a bit of shimmer and color to Clive Davis's bash the night before. Katy Perry brought her fiance Russell Brand and an "Indian Bettie Page Princess" dress for the big night. Beyonce's nude number didn't earn a ton of fans, though she was one of the night's big winners! Heidi Klum had all eyes on her in a show-stopping mini, on the arm of her well-dressed husband Seal.

Fergie was the brightest pop of color in her blue dress while Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus went with deeper blues and greens. It's newcomer Lea Michele who is currently winning the best dressed poll! Kristen Bell had something extra special to go with her gown - a newly debuted engagement ring from fiance Dax Shepard. While I prefer more crazy 'fits at the Grammys, Jennifer Hudson nailed it in her all-black Victoria Beckham ensemble. The singer looks divine in a peplum pouf LBD and sky-high platform pumps. I'm smitten with the architectural neckline and slick pencil skirt. Diamond stud earrings, matching ring, and funky bangle complete her ensemble. Thoughts?
