Celebrities have become a designing powerhouse in their own right, and in 2007, more Fab faces joined the fray. Mary-Kate and Ashley added cool contemporary line Elizabeth and James; SJP launched the budget-friendly Bitten at Steve & Barry's; Gwen's little L.A.M.B. made a runway comeback; Lauren Conrad reached her dream of becoming a designer; and both Sienna Miller and Penelope Cruz teamed with their sisters to cull up some seriously sizzlin' clothes. Admittedly: some of them were hits and some were misses. You all know how much I look to Celebrity Style for inspiration, so here's to hoping 2008 brings just as many fun collaborations!

Jennifer Lopez Halts Sweetface Production

After six years, Jennifer Lopez's contemporary sportswear brand, Sweetface, has been pulled from the racks - for now. "In light of some new company strategies, we have decided to put the Sweetface line on hiatus while we prepare to reintroduce the brand in the near future with new messaging points and an entirely new fashion point of view," a spokesperson said.

Sweetface originally launched as an urban streetwear spinoff to JLO by Jennifer Lopez and quickly became a higher-end contemporary line carried at Shopbop.com, Intermix, and the like. It was said to be raking in about $200 million at retail in 2006, but things went downhill. For now, the only Jennifer Lopez lines remaining in the US will be JLO by Jennifer Lopez costume jewelry and her footwear sold at Victoria's Secret.

Exclusive! Michael Kors Talks Fragrance and the Future

Last week, clothing and fragrance designer Michael Kors (and how could I forget Project Runway judge too) made a trip across the pond not only to visit his new Bond Street store, but to also make an appearance and sign bottles of his brand-new ultra-glamorous fragrance called Very Hollywood (which sells for £48 - £68).

The scent is both flowery and fruity as it contains notes of gardenia, ylang ylang, orris, bergamot, vetiver, white moss, mandarin, black current leaves, pink grapefruit, raspberry and a touch of amber for soul. It was inspired by the high end glamour of Hollywood including the red carpet, decadent jewels, gorgeous clothing and specifically The Beverly Hills Hotel.

The bottle resembles flashbulbs from the old-style cameras (think paparazzi) and overall, I'd say it's surprisingly more wearable and lighter than his original Michael fragrance from 2000. Was there one star that influenced you to create your latest fragrance?
It wasn't just one person. I'd say i's a combination of the old Hollywood glamour of Elizabeth Taylor and Grace Kelly fused with the modernity of Jennifer Lopez and Angelina Jolie.
Where do you get your scent inspirations from?
I like a white floral so we played with right mix to make this one special. The gardenia infused with jasmine, and topped off with white moss makes it sparkle.
What can we expect to see next from Michael Kors Beauty?
We worked so hard to make VERY HOLLYWOOD right that I am committed to see it through, but I have a feeling I might get another need to take another aural journey in the ISLAND destination series.

Kate Shows Off Her New Range In NYC

As expected, Kate Moss arrived in New York yesterday to celebrate the opening of the new Topshop flagship store in the city and to launch her new collection. She managed to show off a few of her own designs, wearing one of her printed dresses to a walk through of the store with Sir Philip Green and his daughter Chloe, before changing to do some shopping in Soho, and then again to meet up with Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony for a dinner party at Balthazar. Other guests in attendance included Debbie Harry and Anna Wintour.

J Lo Getting Back in Triathlete Movie Star Shape

Jennifer Lopez showed off some Preston High School pride - she was class of 1987! - in her workout gear leaving Sonya Dakar skin clinic in Beverly Hills yesterday before getting all cleaned up and looking radiant on the way out of the Beverly Hills Hotel last night. J Lo is looking fit as ever these days while in training for her triathlon, but this famous multitasker has another project on her plate too. Jennifer just signed on for a new romantic comedy, The Governess. While some of her movies (cough, El Cantante) haven't been amazing, she's been known to make some cute lighthearted fare in the past. What do you think - excited to see J Lo back on the big screen in romantic comedy mode?

Jennifer Lopez Wants You to Glow Even More

Despite the fact that she's shuttered her clothing line, this October Jennifer Lopez is launching another version of Glow, the best-selling perfume that her marketing people call the "jewel of the Lopez lineup." The new scent, called My Glow ($49.50), aims to capture the love of a mother for her child.

So what does maternal affection smell like? Not what you might expect. WWD reports that My Glow has lavender, water lily, and freesia top notes; rose, peony and Casablanca Lily midnotes; and a body with lots of musk and sandalwood. As for the bottle, the cap is a pair of cherubs inspired by a soap Jennifer has in her nursery. (It also bears a striking resemblance to L'Air du Temps.) Will this be the mother of all fragrances for la Lopez? In a few months, we'll find out.

Jessica Alba Wants to Be a Celebrity We Can Relate To

Jessica Alba made us laugh this weekend on the Post Super Bowl Office but she got down to business and showed her emotions for Elle. As the March cover girl, the actress talks about her family, her looks, and how she lost the baby weight so quickly. Here are highlights:

On giving birth: "Contractions aren’t that bad. If you’ve ever had bad cramps? That’s what they’re like. But that moment when they put the baby on your chest – that’s deep. It’s a deep experience."
On snapping back into shape so quickly after giving birth: "I did it for the Campari job. [The workouts] were horrible. I cried. And I haven’t worked out since."
On having an exotic look: "Anyone who’s part of pop culture is going to be sensationalized and spun into something, some one-liner. Also, there aren’t many other stars, besides Halle Berry and Jennifer Lopez, who most people in the world can relate to. We look like people of the world – I can kind of mix in with girls in Asia, South America, Europe."

On separation anxiety: This is the first time I’ve been away from her. It’s been six days. It sucks; it’s the worst thing ever. But we Skype, so I can see her on video. The worst is when you can see her little chubby hands grab the screen, and I’m not there. [She pauses, her eyes welling up, then laughs as she wipes the tears away.] That’s a new thing – I never cried before. Just being a mother is making me a big, weepy mess."
On fashion: "I’ve always loved beautiful clothes, but I’m not very hip to the coolest, newest, most fashionable thing. I’ve always liked mixing casual things with nice, beautiful pieces – mixing masculine and feminine. I just didn’t always know how to do it. As a kid, I bought random, thrift store stuff and hoped that it worked. Sometimes it didn’t."
On her husband having a say in what she wears: "Whether I’m dressed as a boy or wearing a gown, he’s pretty cool about it all. He doesn’t want to change me. He’s always like, “Okay, whatever makes you happy."

Sounds like Jessica has it all these days, and while she claims to have stopped working out, she still looks as gorgeous as ever in her latest photo spread.

Fashion Week Moves to Milan, Celebrities Follow

Rihanna went for one of her more edgy looks at the Gucci show last night, keeping her legs warm in the front row with a pair of thigh high boots - love 'em or hate 'em? Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey had their second reunion in two weeks since they completed the triathlon together. They looked pretty and polished with Camila and Marc by their sides before the D&G show this morning.
