Like Africa, another celebrity trend is to get pregnant before getting married. Jennifer Meyer and Tobey Maguire are the latest on that route. Jennifer's daddy is president of Universal Studios so she's no stranger to the A-list lifestyle. She has found her calling by creating an extremely successful and beautiful jewelry line. We know Jennifer Aniston is a huge fan and she was just one of the many who came out to Jennifer's baby shower this weekend. The girls-only "mellow" baby shower on Sunday also included Courteney Cox, Jennifer Garner, Kate Hudson, Nicky Hilton and more. The ladies took home fabulous gift bags, and Tobey even made an appearance at the end. Jennifer M. is one lucky spidey-lady! People reports:

Around the Meyer family pool and lawn overlooking the Pacific Ocean (Jennifer's dad, Ron Meyer, presides over Universal Studios), the women passed the time swilling lemonade and eating such organic hors d'oeuvres as sesame shrimp and chicken skewers before the buffet lunch and lavish dessert table.

"It was a very mellow afternoon," says one guest. "It was a totally easy breezy, chill shower. No shower games. No present opening. Just hanging out."

Not that there weren't gifts. The mom-to-be got goodies from L.A. baby boutique Petit Tresor and parenting advice from Hudson, her friend since childhood.

Disobeying the women-only rule, Spider-Man star and dad-to-be Maguire poked his head into the party around 30 minutes before it wrapped up, only to be showered – appropriately – with kisses.

Sounds like my kind of shower. No games, no awkward present opening and just hanging outside with friends. Fun times. More pics from the fabulous party so read more

Ruby Maguire Still Has Her Parents All to Herself

Tobey Maguire, Jennifer Meyer and their toddler Ruby were spotted with Sara Gilbert and her family in LA on Sunday. The couple had a busy weekend stopping at the Feeding America event on Friday and hitting the star-studded Art of Elysium party the following night. Jennifer's jewelry line has always been a celeb and personal favorite and now you can enter to win a set of her necklaces here. Is Tobey Pregnant?

We were happy to hear Tobey had proposed to his longtime girlfriend Jennifer Meyer back in April. Now it turns out they may be like so many other Hollywood couples these days by doing things backwards. The rumor is Jennifer is pregnant and now they have to decide whether or not they get married before or after the baby comes. Star Reports:

Tobey Maguire and his longtime love Jennifer Meyer are getting ready for their first baby. "Jennifer is pregnant," a source tells Star. "It's still early, so they aren't talking about it publicly yet, but they are really happy." Spider-Man star Tobey, 30, and Jennifer, 29, a Los Angeles-based jewelry designer and the daughter of Universal Studios executive Ron Meyer, began dating in 2003. The couple, who share a home in Los Angeles, got engaged in April, when Tobey gave her a ring from Tiffany. "Tobey said right away she was the one, and looks like he was right," says the source.

"The big question for them now is do they get married now, before the baby is born, or do they wait so Jennifer can fit into the wedding dress of her dreams!"

Tobey Maguire has been dating Jennifer Meyer for what seems like forever. Her Daddy is president of Universal Studios but she comes across as a normal hard working girl who has her own line of jewelry which you have seen on tons of young Hollywood. Lucky for her she has a new piece of jewelry since Tobey has finally proposed. Page Six reports:

SPIDER-Man is getting hitched - and it isn't to Mary Jane. Tobey Maguire, who's getting in shape to play the web-slinger in the third installment of the Sony franchise, popped the question over the weekend to his girlfriend of three years, Jennifer Meyer, daughter of Universal honcho Ron Meyer. Friends say Jennifer happily said yes and slipped on the "big" engagement ring from Tiffany. No date has been set yet. A rep for Maguire said she doesn't comment on his personal life.

We heard rumors of an engagement when Leo and Gisele split. People were saying Tobey was not going to screw things up like his good buddy. I think it's great Jennifer stuck around. Most women would have gotten impatient but they seem to be the real deal. I think she is cute. Congrats to the happy couple.

A month ago we reported that Tobey and Jennifer were pregnant. Now the rumor has been confirmed. Tobey's fiance is Jennifer Meyer who created the famous leaf necklace that Jennifer Aniston wears in The Break-Up. ET reports:

'Spider-Man' star TOBEY MAGUIRE is not only on the verge of becoming a husband, but ET has confirmed that the actor and his longtime love JENNIFER MEYER are expecting!

The couple became engaged in April and, according to several media reports, Jennifer is due later this year.

"I'm walking on air," Jennifer, a trend-setting jewelry designer, told USA Today. "I'm getting married, starting a family and have an amazing company."

Congrats to the happy couple. Looks like Tobey has a very exciting year ahead.
