Mums To Be And More Shine On Oscar Red Carpet

This is it – the ceremony we've all been waiting for. All those other awards shows are really just a build up for this, the big one, The Academy Awards 2008. So which gorgeous girls wowed on the Red Carpet last night? Helen Mirren, Heidi Klum and Anne Hathaway looked red hot, Ellen Page, Jennifer Garner, Penelope Cruz and Tilda Swinton stuck to anything-but-basic black, whereas pregnant Cate Blanchett and Jessica Alba went for perfect purple tones. Happy Birthday To My Husband!

As for the news, here is Eva's reaction to being crowned the hottest woman for two years in a row, she said, â€œSo 91 to No. 1 was a big jump, and then to get it a second time in a row â€” I just couldnâ€™t believe it... I was like, â€˜Surely there are more beautiful women in the world.â€™ I can name 10.â€? Congrats to Eva, but we agree, we can name 10 hotter than her as well.

TIFF Celebrities Party InStyle

InStyle Magazine threw a little soirée for all the celebrities in town for the Toronto Film Festival last night. Obviously this brought Paris, in town filming Repo! The Genetic Opera, out of the woodwork in that cute sequins dress LC wore last month. Jessica Alba was in the house showing off her cute, casual look while Jude Law remarkably managed to maintain his hotness. Keep it up, Jude! Finally, hooray for Mark Ruffalo in town for Reservation Road. Not only is he always a treat, but he just announced that he and his wife are expecting a baby girl!

The Ladies Like it Short & Sweet on the MTV Movie Awards Pink Carpet

The little black dress ruled the red carpet last night at the MTV Movie Awards. Who knew all the hype about a possible feud between Cameron and Jessica would come down to who showed more leg. I really don't think Cameron could sit down in that dress but she sure looked hot! As with any red carpet event, there were definitely some misses as well. Posh should have ditched the pink bra and the beautiful Eva Mendes could have been sexier. Don't even get me started on Amy Winehouse and her dirty ratty hair. Even the ladies who sported the bedhead trend looked cleaner than her. As for other trends, clearly it was all about bare necks and nude lips last night.

Jessica Doesn't Want Attention

Jessica ditched the bathing suits and wet t-shirts for her InStyle shoot and comes out looking fabulous as usual. While it's hard to forget Jessica's sex appeal during her many photoshoots, she definitely tones it down in her free time. Even when she's out at the clubs, she dresses pretty low key. In fact, when she sat down with InStyle, she made sure they knew it. Here's more:

"I don't put it out there," Alba says. "I stay away from superhigh heels, super-short skirts, revealing tops. I know what kind of attention you get from that, and it's not the kind I want."

When she gets on the big screen and in the hands of a wardrobe person, however, all bets are off. Though even without all the short skirts and high heels, we're betting she still gets her fair share of gawkers.

Young Hollywood Hits LAX Club

GS: What’s your motto?
J76: Make it happen, Cap’n. (Nothing comes to those who wait!)

GS: Where are you from?
J76: Equal parts Hawaii and Oregon.

GS: What do you do?
J76: Change dirty diapers, blow runny noses and fix a never-ending cycle of snacks and meals. It’s a glamorous life. No, I have two beautiful children whom I stay home with. And, I tutor algebra online in the evenings.

GS: How would you describe your sense of humor?
J76: I’m not sure how to describe it, so I’ll just list some of the things that make me laugh. The Office really gets me going. (That’s what she said!) I adore British comedies and deadpan deliveries.

GS: What’s your favorite GiggleSugar post?
J76: My favorite *recent* post is Teenage Drama is So OMG. That is one funny boy.

GS: Who’s the cutest funny man and funny woman?
J76: I don’t think there’s any denying that David Cross is a hot piece of funny man meat. And our very own Toronado is one cute Canadienne comedienne!

GS: Who are your favorite male and female comedians?
J76: I’ve always loved Dennis Miller and Beth Littleford.

GS: What’s your favorite comedy of all time?
J76: I don’t know if it counts as a *comedy*, but Freeway is one that makes me laugh out loud every time I see it!

GS: If your life were a comedy, what would it be?
J76: There’d be a lot of slapstick humor with tripping and falling and acute minor injuries - I’m pretty clumsy. True story.

GS: Do you look like someone famous?
J76: People argue about whether I look more like Jessica Alba or Angelina Jolie. I should arrange a death match.

All Men Want Alba

Askmen.com asked over 2.5 million readers which woman they want a relationship with, want to marry or want as the mother of their children. To no surprise, Jessica Alba was #1. It has to be all those bikini pics that have been circulating. Her ass is beyond perfect and the fact that she was the Dark Angel makes her even more bad-ass. Here she is walking in LA with a friend. Even when she is going for casual and cool she looks hot.

Other women topping the list are Sienna Miller, Angelina Jolie, Maria Menounos, Charlize Theron, Jessica Biel, Natalie Portman and Eva Longoria. Guess who was missing. Poor Britney who used to be high on the list was not even on the top 99.

Young Hollywood Awards

Movieline Magazine - now called Hollywood Life Magazine had their 7th Annual Young Hollywood Awards yesterday in LA. These are my favorite pics form the event.

Eva Longoria and Lindsay Lohan looking great apart and then together. I love how once a star gets famous they can start being friends with other top celebs. Lindsay's hair is blonder and while she should always remain a redhead, it actually looks good on her in this pic. I think the gradual dying process allowed me to get used to the idea that she was going blonde.

Also looking hot last night was Jesse Metcalfe, Jessica Alba, Marcia Cross who looks like she may be sporting some new hair extensions, and Krista Allen (who is known for being George Clooney's ex, and HBO's unscripted star - AND now Project Greenlight star - looks like her career is finally taking off).

Not looking so hot, Aiden from Sex in the City, John Corbett who needs to drop a few pounds and shave that beard. Yuck. Also I am not a fan of Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani. I can't believe she has her own clothing company. I hate her style and thinks she tries way too hard. What is that look anyway?
