Blonde bombshell Jessica Simpson partied at Beso Restaurant in Los Angeles last night to celebrate the birthday of her bestie and hairdresser Ken Paves. We've seen many different sides of Jess from her reality show days, but typically we see her out on the town wearing a full face of makeup. However, with a tan and freshly lightened locks, she left the house au natural.
Do You Ever Go Grocery Shopping Without Makeup?
Yesterday, the paparazzi caught Heidi Klum cheese shopping sans makeup. And in June, a very low-maintenance Jessica Simpson took a trip to her local grocery. To me, this doesn't seem like a big deal at all, but if you live in a fancy-schmancy place, going food shopping can be just as big of a deal as a Saturday night out.
If Forced To Toss Your Makeup at Airport Security, Would You...
Happy Birthday, Jessica! Looks like the blonde-again Miss Simpson came prepared to fly as she eased her way through airport security with a plastic baggie filled with FDA-approved liquids (that's three ounces or under, for those not-so-frequent-fliers out there). I am dying to see what she's got in that Zip-loc bag, but I can't manage to zoom in far enough to recognize anything.

At last night's Poiret: King of Fashion Costume Institute Gala in New York, Jessica Simpson fully abandoned the natural look she's been sporting with John Mayer and went glitzy glam with bronzed skin, red hair, and very full red lips. What do you think?

Stars Shine At The Emmys Show and Behind The Scenes!
The stars arrived looking glam last night, and they were all there to see who would receive the statuettes at the Primetime Emmy Awards! 30 Rock and Mad Men were both big winners last night, taking the top Comedy Series and Drama Series trophies. Kristin Chenoweth was thrilled and tearful as she took to the podium to accept her Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy award for Pushing Daisies while Toni Collette won Best Actress in a Comedy for her amazing turn in The United States Of Tara.

Love It or Hate It? Jessica Simpson's Interwoven Updo
Jessica Simpson has had some rough times as of late, but she seems to be keeping a positive attitude. Kudos to that. At the Academy of Country Music Awards nominations, she sported some dark eye makeup, peachy lips, and a truly impressive updo.
