When The Office's John Krasinski gushed at the Emmys about his recent engagement to Emily Blunt, he added support to the age-old dating adage: you'll just know when you've met the person you want to spend the rest of your life with.

John said:

"So many people say, 'You know when you know,' and it's true. It's all true."

If you plan on getting married some day, do you expect that it will be obvious that you and your partner are supposed to be together forever? What about those of you who are engaged or married: did you just know?

John Krasinski and Emily Blunt are engaged - and here's the first picture of her diamond ring! The two started dating last November and have kept their relationship pretty quiet, since then they've only been spotted together in LA a handful of times. Looks like Jenna Fischer's not the only one who's getting ready to walk down the aisle in real life as well as on The Office. Congrats to the happy couple!

Emily Steps Into John's Office of Love

We heard rumblings of a romance between John Krasinski and Emily Blunt a few weeks ago, and apparently the rumors are true. They stepped out Monday night for a movie date at the Arclight in LA, and it looks like John is putting a smile on Emily's face already. Most of you picked Jim and Pam for the best TV romance of 2008, but we'll have to wait and see if John's new real-life relationship will be just as sweet.

NBC Comedy-ers Answer The Really Tough Questions

As you know Buzz is covering the Summer TCAs to report the latest network news as they promote their fall programming. Pop came along for the NBC ride and boy am I glad to be here. The network announced lots of great news (Welcome back Jerry Seinfeld), launching more online content a la Heroes and live chatting during your favorite shows. Here are some highlights so far from a Pop point of view:

Andy Samberg totally dodging the dating Natalie Portman question with this response: "pretty much every host that comes to the show, we all sleep with, so it's written into the contract when you get there --- so by those standards, yes"
Scrubs Exec-Producer, Bill Lawrence joking that the highly anticipated remake of Fletch won't happen since "Neither Zach or John would star in it, so i was screwed." He then shifted back the topic to TV but we're still holding out for that movie to make it on the big screen.
Tina Fey admitting that of NBC's two backstage life at a sketch comedy series, she had no doubt hers would be the one to last. Studio 60 is gone but Tina said she knew "100 percent" that her show would survive. She said, "I have a nasty SNL competitive streak in me, so I'm going to say 150 percent."
Adorable cardigan wearing John Krasinski feeling a blow to the ego as exec producer Greg Daniels admits that the Pam and Jim story line is a "B plot." At that point, John joked and stood up and said, "good night" to the crowd but lucky for us he did not actually leave.
Other observations: Jason Lee was practically mute (boo); Tina Fey is getting prettier everyday; Zach Braff is cuter in person while Andy Samberg needs a new hoodie.

Emily Still Enchants Her Ex

Emily Blunt laughed and joked over coffee with her agent in LA a couple of days ago looking fab and slightly kooky in her sparkly tights. British actress Emily and her ex Michael Bublé split up in July, having dated since 2005 when she met him backstage at one of his concerts. He's been speaking out about his ex-girlfriend, saying that he will always love her and that they're still friends.

Emily was my favourite part of The Devil Wears Prada, and has Sunshine Cleaning coming up in which she stars alongside the equally likeable Amy Adams, but her personal life has been speculated upon further recently with rumours that she is dating The Office: An American Workplace star John Krasinski. If that is the case, I think they'd make an adorable couple!

The Lakers Get Star Treatment From Shia, John, and Beckham

Leo and Zac weren't the only hot guys who were spotted courtside at a Lakers game this weekend - there was a brand new bunch of boys in the house last night. David Beckham resurfaced after his long flight back to LA but left his boys at home this time. On the other hand, Will Ferrell had some bonding time with Magnus while Shia LaBeouf seemed to find himself a pint-size playmate as well. John Krasinski and Jason Bateman had each other as dates, but it looks like they were perfectly happy to share laughs together as the home team earned another win.

Bromance Frenzy At Tropic Thunder Premiere

If there's one movie I'm anticipating the most at the moment it's Tropic Thunder, and the male stars were out in force for last night's LA premiere. The movie promises Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr, Steve Coogan and a career-reviving cameo from Tom Cruise – so, basically, I'm in. There were some great manly bonding moments at the premiere, with Tobey Maguire and Robert greeting each other, Robert nuzzling Ben's shoulder, Jack getting close to Nigel Lythgoe(?!) and The Office co-stars Ed Helms and John Krasinski showed up on a Bromantic date.

While all the manly bonding was going on Ben's wife Christine Taylor laughed with Katie Holmes, before the boys returned to their partners for some photo opps. Also at the premiere Jena Malone (Saved) showed off her new look and haircut, my girl FabUK wants to know if you love it or hate it?

John Dreams Of A Girl To Match His Fashion Sense

John Krasinski may be a man of distinct facial expressions, but this far off dreamy look isn't one we see often. On the other hand, the cardigan that he's sporting is a repeat offense, and is starting to catch on with some of our other favorite stars. This isn't our favorite look on John - or any guy - but his recent interview with Glamour may have the ladies stocking up on some twinsets of their own. When asked if he would date a normal girl like the love interest of Jim Halpert, (his TV counterpart), he said, "Yes, please! It’s not about celebrity or not. It’s all about, do you have that *girl in a cardigan* in you. You gotta have that." Now that cute John is getting more famous, we have a feeling that the cardigan-clad girl he's seeking won't be too hard to find.

Renée Is Not So Single in NYC

Renée Zellweger was looking particularly happy after a fancy date at the Waverly Inn on Friday - perhaps her big smile had something to do with the new man she was holding hands with. Renée has made it pretty clear that she's perfectly content all on her own, but having a new relationship is probably just icing on the cake. Starting tonight she'll be spending lots of time posing between the adorable George Clooney and John Krasinski, but it looks like she'll only have one guy on her mind.

Microsoft Wants You to Creep Out Regular People, Not Just Celebrities

One day, you may be able to upload his face to your dating website of choice when you're looking for love and find the regular Joe who most closely resembles your celebrity crush. This is what Microsoft's new patent, called Image-Based Face Search will do - instead of entering age/religion/location, just browse for that Clooney pic you keep on your desktop and bam! Virtual George is in your hometown.

Does this make anyone else feel shallow and kinda dirty? And yet, I would be lying if I didn't tell you I was way past curious to see the local single men who resemble my beloved Jim Halpert. Dirty feeling or not, tell me whose picture you'd upload!
