He's out and about talking about his latest album, Battle Studies, but in typical Mayer fashion John didn't only speak about business. Just like in his recent interview with the New York Times, John quickly got candid about his personal life.
Pete and John Take Their Friendship to a Permanent Level
Pete Wentz entered John Mayer's house with a nervous look on his face and left with, well, a whole lot more ink on his arm yesterday afternoon. Apparently the duo had a private tattoo session at Mayer's home — ouch — though we don't yet get to see whether John got himself any new art (if there's room) or if it was just Pete's afternoon. These two are taking their guy love between two guys to a whole new level.

John Mayer Embraces His Bromantic Side
John Mayer stepped out of his Krav Maga lesson in NYC yesterday, showing off those tattoos and bulging biceps he's worked so hard for. Despite the rumors that John found himself a blonde lady to celebrate the end of his tour with, apparently he's been staying away from women and relationships since his breakup with Jennifer Aniston. Now he just rolls with a group of guys he refers to as the "circle of trust," though we can't imagine playboy John staying away from the dating scene for too long.
John and Pete Meet For a Manly Meal
John Mayer just spent some time in Chicago with his lady love Jennifer, but now that he's back in LA he is all about the male bonding. He met up with his mutual man crush Pete Wentz for lunch yesterday — though hopefully they left the tattoo equipment out of things this time. Despite their hectic schedules, John and Pete are usually able to find time to hang out when they're in the same place.
BlackBerry Brings in a Slew of Bold Stars
BlackBerry has had quite the celebrity-filled week, launching Storm with John Mayer on Wednesday followed by its Bold launch party in LA on Thursday night. Kate Bosworth glowed in her simple and neutral-toned outfit, while Mario Lopez and Eva Longoria laughed and chatted together. Hayden Panettiere took a break from saving the whales to show off her new tattoo and posed with ex-boyfriend Stephen Colletti inside the party.

John Mayer ducked out of his NYC apartment yesterday morning showing off his tattoo collection and short hair. Even the camouflage can't hide that overnight bag in his hand, and rumor has it that he was headed to LA — alongside his ex Jennifer Aniston. According to the National Enquirer, so take it for what it's worth, the former flames were spotted arriving together at LAX yesterday afternoon and shared lots of long kisses and hugs goodbye before going their separate ways.
