John Mayer went out for a walk in Sydney yesterday before taking the stage later at the city's Paddington Chapel. He's showcasing his new music from Battle Studies, and it seems like John better get used to life on the road as he just announced a new tour - check out the dates. Being in Australia hasn't slowed down John's love of Twitter since he went online to talk about his love for sweats as well as his happiness to be back in front of a crowd.

John Mayer Adds More Sex to His To-Do Lists

John Mayer stopped to greet a fan as he strolled along the streets of NYC on Saturday. He wasn't able to be in LA for last night's American Music Awards, as he had a few shows in the Big Apple over the last week and is due to take his Battle Studies promotional tour to Canada tomorrow. John has been doing a fair share of press for his new album and spoke recently with The New York Times about his record as well as his ladies' man status. Here's more:

On dating: "I should be having sex with more girls. It’s crazy to me that in my head, that being 32 and dating women is going to get me in trouble. I can’t even explain to you how terrible that feels, that I equate dating a woman with punishment, shame, guilt, disappointment, reproach, reprimand, persecution. It’s a nightmare."
On taking musical risks: "There’s nothing I’ve done musically that’s been a wild misstep. Basically, you’re saying, can you risk failure? And that’s something that I’m struggling with right now, because in my life, I would like to do something in music that risks a misstep."
On letting personal relationships take over his music: "What is the odd man out - is it the record or the coverage? I’m not going to let it be the record. I think if you’re listening to Battle Studies and you think it’s a record about high-profile relationships, I haven’t done a good enough job."

John Mayer Goes to Battle on the Today Show

John Mayer greeted fans on his way out of It's On With Alexa Chung in NYC yesterday. He's busy promoting his new album on the East Coast after touring Australia earlier this month. Today's schedule brought him to the Today Show, where he shared billing with a bright-eyed Robert Pattinson. John performed a couple of songs from Battle Studies - watch the videos after the jump. John's next appearance will be on The Late Show tonight, and it will be accompanied by a webcast performance available live online.

BlackBerry Joins John Mayer On Tour

First John Mayer declared that he was a geeky master gamer who loves playing Halo. Well it turns out he might also be a BlackBerry junkie as well!

Reuters has announced that BlackBerry will be sponsoring Mayer's 40-date tour which is set to begin June 1. BlackBerry is using the tour to help launch its upcoming AT&T mobile phone, the Curve.

The senior director of corporate marketing for Research In Motion is hoping that this partnership will help BlackBerry reach a new younger audience. On-site at each concert, people will be able to see, touch, feel and take pictures with the BlackBerry Curve so they can get an up close and personal look at this new sleek smartphone. Now if only I could get my hands on a pic of Mayer using the Curve...in due time!

Jen Jets From LA to Join John in Europe

Jennifer Aniston had her smartwater in hand as she arrived at LAX on Saturday to catch a flight to London, where she's set to meet up with John Mayer as he plays five shows in the UK this week. She skipped out on the first two dates in his European tour - John made stops in Denmark and the Netherlands over the weekend - but seemed content as she smiled and waved after meeting friends for dinner once she arrived in London on Sunday night. These two aren't strangers to globetrotting together, so it's no surprise that Jen decided to join John on his escapades.

John Boards a Different Kind of Mayercraft Carrier

He's only been back in CA for a few days, but John Mayer and Co. were already piling onto the tour bus - after a visit from the personal trainer earlier in the day - for the trek from LA to Paso Robles for a performance last night. The new Sony poster-boy didn't have Jennifer by his side for this trip, but with gadget in hand he's ready to get back on the road. If she was there watching her man's show, we're guessing she got there in something a little more stylish than the bus.

John Mayer headed out to dinner solo on Tuesday night and yesterday stopped by a doctor's office as he gears up for his world tour, which kicks off next week. He just got back from a short trip to Australia where he debuted some new songs and weighed in on the Britney lip-syncing debate. His Battle Studies album is out on Tuesday and when the whole thing leaked on the Internet this week, John politely requested that fans think about buying it too and he expressed gratitude at people's positive responses.

Kingston Gears Up to Hit the Road With Just Dad

Gavin Rossdale hit the stage in LA yesterday with his biggest fan Kingston rocking out protected from any excessive noise with his headphones. Kingston looked happy to watch his dad onstage, enjoy a blue lollipop and have a snuggle with a couple of adorable pugs (aw). After the show Gavin talked a bit about Kingston and their tour plans including a stop at John Mayer's pre Mayercraft Carrier Save the Music Show tonight. Here are highlights:

On Kingston: "[He's] definitely a punk rocker in the making. . . I don't know if he's going to put that punk rocker to use in a band or whether he's going to be like a Svengali manager."
On touring at the same time as Gwen with No Doubt: "I love touring . . It's going to be challenging, but I like the idea that we're both working and both doing what we love, so that's the way it goes. Anyone who has kids knows about the sacrifices of time you spend with your kids [with] working and different priorities. How do you make it work? Organize the chaos. . . Kingston, I'll be taking him. The baby will probably have to stay with his mom. Needs the milk, you know?"

Too bad the family will be split up when they hit the road, but it looks like little rock star Kingston is ready for some guy time with his dad.

John Brings His Shirtless Wonderland Body to Cabo

John Mayer took advantage of a little break in his tour schedule and hopped down to Cabo with his tour band mates a few days ago. Jennifer Aniston didn't make it down for this little vacation, but the group looked all sorts of relaxed. Mayer, his band and their wives were apparently rewarding themselves for all their hard work on tour this Summer. John smoked his cigar, shirtless, drink in hand in the hot tub. While we'd love to see John's bikini loving girl Jen cozied up right next to him, she's been living it up with her girls in LA until this hot couple is together again.
