Do You Believe the Jon and Kate Rumors?

Jon and Kate Plus 9? Just weeks after an interview where Jon Gosselin insisted he's never cheated on Kate and a wholesome Oprah appearance, this week's Us Weekly cover story claims the dad to eight was caught leaving a club at 2 a.m. with another woman. Apparently, Jon was overheard saying, "Hey, babe! Babe! Give me my jacket!" then noticed the photographers and sped off with his lady friend. Jon told Us:

I went to Legends to speak to the owner. A friend of mine wanted to check out my car, so I let her drive it to her car. Yes, I have female friends - but that is all she is. I'm not going to end my friendships just because I'm on TV.

As close followers of the show and family we can only hope Jon's statement is true, but sadly this isn't the first account of Jon out late with other women. What's your take?

Jon Gosselin's Epiphany: Believable or Not?

Apparently a light went off in Jon Gosselin's head but the timing is a bit questionable. He appeared on Larry King Live last night saying that he had an epiphany and is demanding a cease-and-desist order upon TLC to stop filming the children for Jon & Kate Plus 8 - this after TLC announced that they were dropping the father of eight from the hit show. Jon, who recently claimed that he despises his soon-to-be ex-wife Kate, admitted to making a few mistakes including saying that the children are having fun while taping episodes. King asked Gosselin if he made a lot of money from the series and Jon said, "No", but when King asked how much Gosselin made, the papa replied, "Maybe a million dollars, $500,000 after taxes."

Jon's television appearances do not seem to be helping his case in the courts or with loyal viewers who are having a hard time believing that he is speaking from the heart and not the wallet. We can only hope that Jon is truly putting his children first, but his actions are suspect. What do you think of Jon's epiphany - believe it or not?

Jon Gosselin Denies Cheating, Hummel Discredits Brother

In what appears to be an interview that took place prior to US Weekly's publication of the photo spread alleging an affair between Jon Gosselin and 23-year-old Deanna Hummel, the TLC star denied cheating on his wife, Kate, to Entertainment Weekly. Here are the highlights of EW's chat with The Gosselins:
On the photograph of Jon and Deanna taken outside Legends bar:
Kate: It's disturbing and unfortunate that these tabloids have gone as far as they have to try and bring us down. Jon's poor judgment and irresponsible behavior has also without a doubt caused some added tension and stress between the two of us.
On being in the public eye and the fan response to tabloid reports:
Jon: Our fans and the majority of viewers have been overwhelmingly supportive, but when tabloids take photos and turn them into something they are not, yes it definitely makes us hesitant to take photos with fans and go about our daily lives. We still want to live normal lives. We want our kids to have opportunities that we didn't have growing up, which is why we participated in the show in the first place. But of course it makes us think twice about how we spend our time in public.
On whether they will address these issues during the fifth season of Jon and Kate Plus 8 which begins airing on May 25:
Kate: I think we will address the bigger picture, regarding the very public focus on our family and the stress it's caused in our relationship, but not necessarily any specific tabloid.

Additionally, People just published another adamant denial of the affair by Hummel who discredits her brother as a reliable source behind the US Weekly piece stating that he has a criminal past and is currently on probation. She said:

My brother is making this all up. He has no credibility ... I can't even stomach the lies he's saying about me."

Update: Latest US Weekly piece has a video of Jon allegedly leaving Hummel's house in the early morning and RadarOnline has a clip of a motel security guard stating that he saw Jon kiss a woman fitting Hummel's description at Legends.

Jon Gosselin Says Kate Was Abusive and Took His Ring

Jon Gosselin stayed silent for a while, but now he's telling all. The famous father of eight sat down with Chris Cuomo and dished about everything from being abused by his soon-to-be ex-wife to the other reasons why their relationship is permanently broken. A teaser ran on Good Morning America today highlighting tidbits from the three-hour interview, which has has been turned into an episode of Primetime: Family Secrets and airs tonight. Check out what Jon had to say:

On the unfair way he is portrayed on magazine covers: "Let's finish what we need to finish and get on with our lives."
On what happened to his 20s: "I was married at 22. I had twins at 23. I had sextuplets at 27. Bye Bye 20s."
On what really broke up the marriage: "I was verbally abused. I was beaten down. She separated me from my family. She used to hold the kids over my head and say, "'Don't spend time with your mom. Spend time with your kids.' Why can't I spend time with my mom and my kids together? I'm not going back to that lifestyle."
On despising Kate: "I can't sit on the sofa with that woman - with someone I despise."
On their wedding rings: "I think she (Kate) still wears the ring for public perception. I don't wear my ring because she took my ring."

How Did You Feel About Tonight's Jon & Kate Plus 8?

It's one thing to see the word divorce written across a speculative headline, but it's another to hear it come from the lips of a couple who made a commitment to each other 10 years ago believing it would be forever. Jon and Kate Gosselin got married young, started a family with their twin daughters, Mady and Cara, 8 and then welcomed a super sized addition with the miraculous births of their sextuplets - Aaden, Collin, Joel, Alexis, Hannah and Leah, 5. Despite renewing their vows in Hawaii last Summer and reassuring their kiddos that they would stay together, the parents announced their split during tonight's raw episode of Jon and Kate Plus 8.

The hour long "big announcement" special proved to be a tearjerker because no matter what opinions one has of the couple, fans undoubtedly feel for the children. And, perhaps some heartbreak comes with the fact that not every family makes it, even when it seems like they already overcame the biggest obstacles life would offer them. Tonight, Kate Gosselin talked to Larry King about the future of her family's show, the well being of her children and how she's handing her impending divorce. When asked if she thinks her soon-to-be ex is a good dad, the reality star said, "He is. (long pause) His decisions right now are not ones that I would necessarily make, but down deep in his heart I know that he is." What's your opinion?
