Jonathan Ross was presented with a Music Industry Trusts' award by George Michael last night, for his "hugely influential exposure for new artists". There was a video tribute shown at the event too, where stars like Will Smith, Sir Tom Jones, Cheryl Cole and U2 sent messages and thanks to Jonathan. The man himself called the award itself "shoddy", but got serious when he said, ''But it's what it represents...

While the US celebs certainly pushed the boat out for Halloween in their costumes, here in the UK our stars dressed up too! Jonathan Ross held a celeb-packed party, The Saturdays enjoyed a birthday / Halloween bash while Anna Friel, Pixie Geldof and others put on their gladrags and went out on the town. What spooky fun!!

George Clooney changed out of his casual clothes into black tie for The Fantastic Mr Fox premiere at the opening of the London Film Festival in Leicester Square last night. He was joined by Elisabetta Canali, who wore a black outfit like Cindy Crawford and Myleene Klass, while Sophie Dahl matched her dress to the red carpet. Sophie's step-grandmother Felicity was also at the premiere, and said the author of the original book Roald Dahl would have loved it.

Take That are touring the UK at the moment with their Circus Live tour, and Jason Orange, Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen are putting their all into the shows and getting some fantastic reviews. Between the spectacular shows, the boys get some downtime, pictured here outside their Dublin hotel on Saturday as they headed to the venue. Support act James Morrison has admitted he's not really a fan of the band, saying: "I'm not a Take That kind of guy.

Jonathan Ross and Eminem have struck up an unlikely friendship after meeting when he was appearing on Jonathan's show this week (airing Friday). The show was filmed on Monday, and after their meeting Jonathan updated his twitter, saying: "Hi friends Sorry not to have tweeted. Had great fun with guests and Eminem came back to mine to look at comics!"

- Madonna was injured when a photographer scared her horse and she fell from the saddle at the weekend. Her publicist Liz Rosenberg said: "The accident occurred when the horse Madonna was riding was startled by paparazzi who jumped out of the bushes to photograph the singer, who was visiting friends on Eastern Long Island over the weekend. Madonna will be having further tests and will continue to remain under observation by doctors."
