Not only were they great to look at on the red carpet donning different hairstyles and exciting makeup, but they are all talented and beautiful in their own right. The women were looking gorgeous as they took to the red carpet at the MTV EMAs this evening. Brits Pixie Lott and Leona Lewis went for black outfits, with Pixie choosing a classic LBD and Leona going for an edgier choice of harem trousers. Lil Kim made a bold statement with her outfit, while Juliette Lewis was classic rock chick in her leather.

The next star to arrive in Berlin is British singer Joss Stone. The soulful gal has opted for this season's hottest footwear for the event wearing over the knee boots with a printed silk wrap dress. She picked up the colour in her dress with her dangling earrings.

Host for the night Katy Perry has started the red carpet parade at the MTV EMAs in Berlin! She was joined by digital host Pete Wentz, red carpet host Joss Stone, Juliette Lewis and MTV presenters Rickie Haywood Williams, Laura Whitmore and Melvin Odoom. After covering her face in inventive makeup for Halloween at the weekend, Lily Allen gave her skin a break and went for the natural look as she enjoyed dinner at the Ivy in London last night. She wasn't smiling, perhaps due to Joss Stone's comments about her. In response to Lily's stand on making internet file sharing a criminal offense, Joss says music should be shared for free whenever possible, and said Lily "needs to sell records because she's not a singer, and that's not an offense to her because I think that she knows that too."

MTV EMA host Katy Perry posed with Pete Wentz and Joss Stone at a press conference yesterday ahead of the MTV Europe Music Awards at the O2 Arena in Berlin tonight, which airs on MTV at 9pm. Pete is taking on digital hosting duties, while Joss will be presenting the red carpet online at 8pm. Acts performing include Beyonce, Jay-Z, Leona Lewis, Shakira, Green Day, Foo Fighters and Tokio Hotel, and presenters include Brody Jenner, Bar Refaeli, Backstreet Boys, Jonas Brothers and more.

London Fashion Week comes to a triumphant close today, and yesterday the shows and parties were still in full swing with fashion folk mingling with celebs all over the city! American Vogue editor Anna Wintour was seated next to Alexa Chung at the twenty8twelve show last night, and they seemed to share a laugh — do you think Alexa will be a future Vogue US cover star? Pixie Geldof sat on the other side of Alexa for the show, designed by Savannah and Sienna Miller, who had flown over from her starring role on Broadway to see the collection's London debut.

Inglourious Basterds premiered at the Cannes Film Festival last night, with stars Brad Pitt and Diane Kruger bringing their other halves Angelina Jolie and Joshua Jackson, and director Quentin Tarentino dancing down the red carpet. - Phillip Schofield has responded to Kerry Katona's claims that he was "ignorant and arrogant" during an interview that took place on This Morning. He said: "Anyone who regularly watches This Morning will hopefully agree that we try our very best to give a balanced point of view. I still believe we approached her difficulties with a much fairer, gentler hand than she would have received in many other arenas.

Prince Charles launched a global awareness campaign for The Prince's Rainforests Project today, with a video starring school children from across the world as well as famous faces. Daniel Craig, Pele, Robin Williams, Harrison Ford, Joss Stone, Dalai Lama, Kermit the Frog and Charles's own sons, William and Harry, all add their voices to the campaign. This is the first YouTube video from Prince Charles, and his spokesman commented: "The Prince is not necessarily someone who is a regular user of the internet.
