FABTV: Backstage at Topshop Unique

The Topshop Unique Spring show was one of the highlights for me. The collection was sportswear inspired with a '90s edge and plenty of grungey touches. Our friends over at Handbag.com went backstage before the show to find out about the inspiration behind the collection. They also met some of the models and the A list front row to discuss their thoughts on the High Street giant.

Breaking News: Jourdan Dunn is Pregnant

Today it has been revealed that British model Jourdan Dunn is pregnant. The 18 year old joins Gisele Bündchen, Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima and Karolina Kurkova as models who will be sporting a bump this Autumn. The news broke in an unusual way as Style.com offered suggestions for the young star's maternity wardrobe.

Whilst they recommend Burberry, Stella McCartney and Duro Olowu the online fashion community is in shock. Jourdan bagged British model of the year last November and was the first black model to appear on the catwalk for Prada in over ten years. She has also recently bagged covers for i:D, Vogue, Elle France and Pop.

As she is only just starting out in her career it is a bit of a surprise, but fellow models Heidi Mount and Natalia Vodianova became pregnant early in their career and made it work for them. In fact, Natalia claims that being pregnant actually helped her get work. We wish Jourdan all the best and congratulate her on her first child.

Which Celebrity's Hair Would You Want?

It's funny how a single photo can spark a conversation, but after I saw Jennifer Aniston's perfectly highlighted and silky hair here, I became obsessed. I asked my girlfriends FabSugarUK who was at the top of their celebrity hair wish list and they both came back to me with a tie between Lauren Conrad and Blake Lively. I can of course see the appeal, (even though we know their hair is secretly extended).

We had lots of fun narrowing down the list and gabbing about those who didn't quite make the final cut, like Victoria Beckham,Jessica Simpson, Cheryl Cole and Jessica Alba. If you could have any celebrity's hair, whose would you choose?

Fab Cover: Natalia and Jourdan for Vogue

Fab Flash: Jourdan Dunn is London's Top Model

Late last year Jourdan Dunn was named Model of the Year at the British Fashion Awards beating off competition from Agyness Deyn. At London Fashion Week this month she proved her worth to the British fashion industry by appearing on a staggering 14 runways. She walked at some of the biggest shows including Twenty8Twelve, Julien Macdonald and Vivienne Westwood. Other models who made an impact throughout the week include Agyness Deyn who opened and closed for House of Holland, Alek Wek and Stella Tennant at Aquascutum, Erin O'Connor and Lily Cole at Qasimi and Sara Blomqvist opened for Luella.

Best of 2008: Model of the Year

At this year's British Fashion Awards the BFC presented Jourdan Dunn with the model of the year prize. She has had a very busy year and has spoken out about the lack of black models in fashion. However, she isn't the only model to have clocked a fair few catwalk miles in 2008, it has also been a good few seasons for Daisy, Agyness, Lily, Rosie and Natalia! It's great to see so many British models making it big as both Daisy and Agyness have been flying the flag for the UK in New York. I also love Natalia's classic Russian style whilst Lily and Rosie fight it out for the title of English Rose. Which fashion face have you been loving this year?

Best of 2008: Fab Face of the Year

Choosing between models is like choosing between children for me. No joke. All year, I've been getting to know all types of gorgeous Fab Faces, but only six made the final cut. Natasha Poly has been everywhere, and for good reason. Have you seen her jawline? Chanel Iman is simply adorable. Coco Rocha always stands out with her personality and healthy glow. Daria Werbowy is no newbie but she's still going strong - both in campaigns and editorials. Jourdan Dunn emerged as a force on the catwalk. And Lara Stone, wow. She's bold enough for cutting-edge spreads and sexy enough for Victoria's Secret. All stunning, but who deserves the title Fab Face of the Year?

Luella Bartley was the big winner as she was awarded British designer of the year but Jourdan Dunn also had a good night taking home model of the year. Stylish Celebs Stay In The Black At British Fashion Awards

Last night Mariella Frostrup hosted the British Fashion Awards in London, and a host of celebrity fashion enthusiasts turned up to applaud the winners. My girl FabUK has all the details on the winners, including Model of the Year Jourdan Dunn - who beat Agyness Deyn to the title - and Red Carpet Designer winner Matthew Williamson. The ever stylish Alexa Chung also walked the red carpet in a tribal boho number, as did Sophie Ellis-Bextor who looked classic in her Topshop LBD and white tights. Erin O'Connor also wore a Topshop jacket over her designer gown - it's great to see celebs wearing affordable clothes on the red carpet, don't you think? Other celebs attending the event included Anastacia, Twiggy and her daughter, Pixie Geldof, Roisin Murphy, Claudia Schiffer, Sadie Frost and Jade Jagger.
